I submitted an order through the app (so it was already paid for and mobile ordering was obviously turned on for the store) and arrived at the store about 5 minutes after I placed the order for an employee to literally yell at me that they didn’t open for another half hour in the parking lot, despite the app and the internet stating this store opens at 5am. I tried to ask what could be done to resolve this issue and I was given literally zero options except to use my personal time to call a generic number to ask if I was eligible for a refund. I was told I could not get a refund at the store because it was a mobile order, but I know that’s not true because I’ve gotten refunds on mobile order items in the past and recently so! I was then told the employees that were there couldn’t operate the coffee machines, couldn’t use the registers, that they couldn’t do anything and I could come back later. I explained I was working and there was no guarantee I could come back in 30 minutes if I got a job assignment or if I did get an assignment it would be nearly 7:30 before I could get back to retrieve my cold, undrinkable coffee, so I would like a refund. I was told again they couldn’t give me one or make the coffee since they couldn’t use the coffee machines.

Read moreI spend atleast $150 a month on starbucks .Today was the 3rd strike for me on this location. I atleast come to this location 4 times a week because it’s on my way to work .First,they scanned my reward even tho I didn’t wanna use it. Second, my drink had a bad lid or cup that the lid came off while i was drinking it. And it spilled all over my car. Third one was this morning, i did mobile order because it was raining yesterday thru the night and i know the drive thru would be long and people want hot drink on this weather. I arrived at the location and i see one drink on the mobile order rack but not mine, so i sat down to wait cause maybe they’re still making it. 10mins past and still nothing. Finally asked what happened to my mobile order and said their machine is stucked so it didn’t print. Uhm ok? So i asked to just refund. Girl said my drink would be done by the time she’s done refunding me, i said its fine i just want the refund and im already running late. When i was by the door, other girl tried to give me a venti drink. -_- you think i want that? I did mobile order for the sole purpose of customization of my drink (almond milk, im lactose) , fast service and since their machine was stuck , she probably just made it in a normal way. Read moreThey can have a tendency to focus on drive thru. There can be 5 staff members and 4 only do the cars and the 5th staff member is helping them with food. Even if there are no cars, they'll stand and talk to each other. We can't help the register guests. Other locations are also guilty.
I go in here knowing they do not brew decaf coffee in the AM, for that matter, they never brew it. I drink half caff Pike. I have no choice on Sundays. Today I went in knowing I'd have to get a regular Pike. Love Pike. My decision. After paying for the regular coffee and donut, the attendant says "need to make a fresh pot and it will be about 5 minutes". I asked for a refund and walked out. I took off a star today as the store is going in the wrong direction. This store needs help. Sorry Starbucks, but if this was your model to compare with other stores, I'd never visit Starbucks. Nice thing is that it is not and the typical stores do brew decaf and care about it's customers. I visited a Starbucks in Richmond on Grove and they did not have their decaf brewed.
