The waitress at this restaurant was the worst.
She didn’t provide basic service like water or plates when taking our order. While I was ordering, she didn’t focus on what I was saying and kept misunderstanding me.
For example, I said, “Chicken Caesar Salad,” but she repeatedly responded with, “Yes, Chicken Quesadilla.” I had to correct her three times, saying, “No, Chicken Caesar Salad.”
Her attitude was rude.
Finally, when the food came out, she brought a Chicken Quesadilla instead of my order!
I was shocked and pointed out her mistake again. She didn’t apologize but instead made excuses, claiming I ordered the quesadilla. Then, without any expression of regret, she just took the quesadilla back with an indifferent attitude.
We ordered three dishes in total, and two of them had already been served. Since the salad wasn’t coming out, I thought she just forgot about it. Honestly, I was full by then and figured it was fine to just pay for the two dishes and leave.
But toward the end of our meal, she finally brought out the salad! At that point, it was completely ridiculous. I didn’t even know what to do with the salad since I was already full. I barely ate a little bit and left the rest.
To make matters worse, she never brought us the check. When I looked toward the kitchen area, she was sitting down with her chin resting on her hand, scrolling on her phone.
Several other customers were also sitting at their tables, looking around and waiting for service. Eventually, people had to get up and call her over just to get her to do her job.
I’ve never encountered such an incompetent employee at any other restaurant.
This place needs to replace its staff...
Read moreHorrible experience. I received meal vouchers from my airline due to 2 cancelled flights and came here to eat directly after receiving them from the ticket counter that was in the airport. Server was fine until I said I would pay with the vouchers, then she became rude saying they don’t accept that. The voucher was valid for airport restaurants which cafe americana is. Her name was Mascara (sp?) C. I tried asking her why and other questions regarding the voucher but she kept on walking away. I ended up paying cash and went to talk to the airline that issued the voucher. They said that it should work and offered me proper and good customer service, (suggestions to be reimbursed) unlike this restaurant. Came back to point out that this voucher should have been accepted and she accused me of underpaying the bill, in which I quickly pulled out the receipt to show her she was wrong. Then after I showed her the instructions on the voucher and its number, expiration date, etc. she walked away from me and would not talk to me afterwards. Management will be contacted about this incident additionally. Absolutely...

We ordered vegetarian pizza. The pizza base was not at all cooked. It was so thin from center that if you lift the slice , the cheese would just drop. My husband went to tell the staff the same. They first made him go to the counter at the side so that other people can't hear us. Then at the counter the lady said what's wrong with it, why you telling me, I didn't cook it. We showed her the drooling pizza. Asked her to call the chef as well. But she just ignored and reverted saying that we ate it. We said we are not asking for refund. But just giving a feedback on how badly it was baked. And that we don't believe in trashing the food. At the end we told her, leave everything but just see your attitude.
