I asked questions at the drivethru speaker. I was told to come in and talk to manager. I drove up to the window to speak to a manager. A worker sd the manager sd to come in. I told her I would but I'm handicapped, on a cane and at the time I'm in pain and don't feel up to climbing in& out of the car to come inside just to ask to him. He should be willing to come speak to a customer at the window. Well, she told him what I sd, and he finally came to speak to me at the window. He was short with me. Before I can give him the receipt, I told him my name and about a problem with a order from the previous day. But he sd that I didn't call back or bring the food bk, as they didn't have mine or my sons name (it was his meal that was wrong). I told him I did, and gave the name of the girl I spoke to and the managers name she gave me. He sd "There is no 1 here named Melissa, and no manager named Karen. " Was about to walk away. I sd "Well that's the names she gave me". And as went to hand him the receipt he sd "There's another location in Kingsport out on West Stone Dr and there's a Karen that works there. You'll have to go there".
So I realized that even tho I was at the same place we had gotten our food the day before that I'd called bk to the wrong place. (I'd got on Maps and asked for Arby's in Kingsport and 1 came up and I called it. But I'm not from there but visiting my sons family, so I didn't know there was this other location. But I guess that location came up on MAPS 1st, if I'd scrolled down I would've saw there was other locations to choose from. But I just called the 1st one.) So I apologized that I'd called back to a different location when I thought I was calling his store. But to please look at the receipt, it was here that we were at not the other place. He sd "You can go to that store and ask them to replace the sandwich." I told him that wouldn't be fair to that store since they didn't fix the meal wrong." But he acted as he was busy and he just walked off, away from the drive thru window.
By the way, it wasn't busy, no 1 behind me, I didn't see 1 other car pull in the parking lot the few minutes I was there. So I just left aggravated, and won't cone bk there. And I did not go to the other location. But, on my next trip to visit, I will go to the...
Read moreIt’s been a while since I’ve been to Arby’s so I decided to go tonight. I pulled up and drive-through and placed my order with the very polite young man working the drive-through. I went to the window and was promptly handed my drink then I paid and received a receipt. I should mention that during this entire time there was a customer pulled forward of drive-through waiting for her order. Within a minute or two the polite young man came and asked me to pull over into a parking space while they’re getting my order ready. I said sure I’ll keep an eye on my mirror and the moment someone pulls behind me I’ll get out of the way. A few minutes later, a few female employee came to the window and exclaimed that they have timers. I need to move. I told her that I would move when someone got behind me. Then she followed up with then we won’t serve you. I said fine and held up my credit card although she never took it. She said I was screwing up her timers. I said, you mean the timer that keeps track of how long it takes you to serve the customer ? She said yes. I then said the timer stops when I pull forward? She said yes. So then I said, you want me to help cheat your time to make your numbers look better? Here’s my card. She went inside and spoke with what was apparently the manager who eventually came and handed me my food. To be fair, no one was behind me. I do not want to be a part of helping your employers think you were doing a much better job and a timely fashion than you actually are. What upset me was twofold. First, the very condescending attitude when first she addressed me. Second when she accused me of screwing up her numbers when in fact, she was upset because I did not want to help her cheat for...
Read moreI love their food but have learned to not visit during my work lunch due to how long it takes every single time. The sliders are put in the bag in open top cardboard sleeves, and then the napkins are thrown on top and get all the sauces on them. Then the receipt goes on top, often directly touching the food--which is wrong for a few reasons.
I usually tolerate these things, yet the other day i went and nobody noticed me at the drive thru so after over a full minute i said "hello?" Extremely rude response. Took my order and didn't say the price, and when I sat there waiting for this and the queue that my order was taken and I should drive on, a voice came on the intercom and testily said "drive!" in an inpatient voice.
The roast beef also has started to smell what I would describe as slightly spoiled in the past few weeks. Not sure if that's actually what...
