Bella Pizza — Restaurant in Virginia

Tried this place out tonight for the first time and it seems like a solid pick if you know what you like best from their offerings. We’d probably get the white pizza, pepperoni calzone again and maybe try some of the other items next time. Generous coupons, fast delivery, hot food, easy to order online.

Calzone - pepperoni: added grilled chicken. Great!

Calzone - ham: tastes like smoked ham or something, different flavor than expected.

White Pizza: solid! Decent crust, nice cheeses.

Chicken Alfredo: full to the lid, plenty of chicken but a bit dry. Not much flavor to the Alfredo sauce besides straight salt and the fettuccine was kind of overdone. Garlic bread is supposed to come with it, we only got plain, soft, white bread, no garlic.

Zeppoles: not crisp, more chewy like they steamed inside the container but raspberry sauce is good

Cannoli: this was put on top of all of the hot food so it melted, filling was a little grainy even melted. But it had a crisp shell so they probably fill these to order,...

We ordered a large pizza 30 minutes before closing. In the initial call I was put on hold for nearly 8 minutes which was enough time for me to arrive at the location. When I arrived, I noticed the man behind the register talking with what looked to be a DoorDash delivery man. I had to hang up the phone and call back at this point. He answered the phone and I placed my order. After waiting for my order and going inside first, we found out it was never put in the system then he checked and saw that he had given the pizza away to the wrong customer.

To make the situation right he offered to provide us with a free pizza, but for tomorrow. Of course, at this time that did not solve the problem of not having food tonight. I am very frustrated with the service and look forward to speaking...

Well, we used to like Bella's Pizza (Pickwick in Centreville) and had them deliver many times; but I will never order from them again. The delivery drivers take up a dozen spaces in a plaza with a tutoring center and martial arts facility with many parents picking up and dropping off children in the afternoon and evening. The drivers should NOT be in customer spaces and should not yell, beep and try to back into a parent picking up a child. One of the drivers approached my car yelling at mem while another started to back his car toward me. I should have called the police. And will if there is a next time. The shopping center needs to keep Bella's from using customer parking for its drivers. There are plenty of spaces in back of the building where children are not beng dropped off...
