I don't like giving negative reviews about restaurants, however my experience last time made me very hesitant to ever go back. The food was pretty good but that was about it. When we arrived, we told our waiter we would order food and then order more after we finished what we initially ordered. The food came out pretty quickly but we had to hunt someone down to order more food and it took so long we decided to omit a few things. Part way through our meal, a customer at the table next to us got ill (probably from drinking too much) and was escorted to the restroom by one of the people she was with. She got sick all over the table and floors leading up to the restroom and the only clean up was from the rest of the group she came with, taking some napkins and wiping it up. I lost my appetite after that. Bodily fluids are a biohazard and need to be treated with chemicals. Eventually someone came by to clean their tables after they left but just wiped it down as they do for any table, which makes me fear cross contamination. I wanted to tell someone, giving them the benefit of the doubt that they didn't know about the situation, but no one came to check on our table, not even for the check. We waited for a while and then went up to the front counter to pay instead and waited again until someone came to ring us up.
I've been here before and the service was slightly better so maybe they just had an off day, but with so many kbbq places around the area, I don't see myself coming back or recommending this...
Read moreI think that the quality of the food and the service has started to slip. They used to have good efficient service where the servers actually care. Now they all look haggard hopping from table to table with no coordination. We have been patrons in the Centreville location for at least 4 yrs now and even when we moved out of the city, we kept coming for Sunday late lunch at least once a month. We keep giving them a chance but kept getting disappointed with the service. Today, we ordered the beef platter and pork belly. The beef platter meats were placed on the grill but they came to turn the meats too infrequently that we had to do it ourselves so that they don't burn. The pork belly was set to the side (still uncooked). We were almost 80% through with our meal when the serving lady/cook came to our table almost as an afterthought to start cooking the pork belly. I told her to just cancel the order since we were almost done and that I turned the griller off because nobody bothered to check on it and it would burn the meat we already have. Needless to say, our meat got dry. Nobody asked if we needed anything on our table thru out the meal. I don't think I will be back anytime soon. There are other Korean BBQ places in the area that could use...
Read moreNot exactly sure what people like about this place. You pay a premium for Korean street food ? Poor cuts of meat and tons of condiments that cost them pennis. It's all a great gimmick. This company is gonna do well cause they know how to market crap. Seriously take a good look at the quality. It's the poorest of the poor and they are charging a premium. We paid about 25$ each. All the staff is on the floor. No chef. The owners overhead is really low since there are no high salaries on staff, no chef needed since you do the work. Small kitchen so small capital cost. Distant location so low rent for the owner. Really not understanding the value if you look at it from the quality standpoint. Your throw a piece of meat on a hot plate......is that what sells? Do you know how cheap pork is? They make all the condiments in large batches. It's like pennies to them..they throw some home printed "Korean" decor up..I am white and I can be more Korean then them...but they know they don't event need to try hard..they know they are not authentic...I really need to open a Korean BBQ. Profit margin off the roof. Clap clap ...good for them, shame on us and our...
