Sadly, the reviews are spot on for the worst customer service by the gentleman working the drive through. This is a drive thru only location. The donut menu alone is substantial with several notes that showed varying flavors on different days. It takes a few minutes to read over and make decisions. Well, this guy was NOT having it. Apparently, if youâve never been there, better for you to park, walk over to the drive thru menu and get your stuff together. I was actually embarrassed for this business because the donuts were pretty good and the owner must enjoy baking and having a business in the communityâŚ.but this employee does NOT enjoy working here and serving people. Trust me, we are some of the nicest peopleâweâve worked in food service before. We get it. I just canNOT express enough how rude this man was. Sad because I would probably go back next time Iâm in town visiting my in laws, but nope. The woman who cashed us out at the end was very sweet but it just couldnât make up for the extremely rude greeting and service. I might add that we were the ONLY car in the drive thru the whole time (on a Thursday morning) and we ended up buying (2) dozen donuts. My mom had to practically hang out of the car because the rude gentleman (NOT a âgentlemanâ at all) was giving us alllll kinds of rude comments because he couldnât hear us.    Read moreI have lived in Bristol for well over a decade. I will admit to not being the most enthusiastic about blackbird when I've had their baked goods in the past. They were passable did not find them jaw dropping or that discernible from anything I was capable of doing in my own kitchen. However, since I didn't feel like putting in the work to make homemade yeast donuts because I didn't have 2 days to make them, I decided to go through the drive-thru at this location this morning. I asked the man in the drive-thru to give me a moment while I read over the menu because I had not been in a couple years. Again, I don't dislike their food, but I never find myself craving blackbird bakery. The man was annoyed that I had the audacity as the only person in line in the drive-thru to ask for a moment. And then when I ,2 minutes, later was ready to give him my order. He was rude, disrespectful and I heard him huff and puff and mutter under his breath when I ordered a coffee, a fountain drink and two donuts. The guy and girl working each morning are so welcoming and awesome. They seem to try to get you out quickly but are friendly and attentive while doing so. The drinks are also better than they used to be.
I came through around 12:30 friday and ordered some doughnuts and an iced latte. Let me say the doughnuts were delicous however the lady who waited on me rushed me and was pretty rude. I get it as it looked like she was the only one working and I could have overlooked that but when she brought my drink to me it was hot so I asked her if I could get it iced like I ordered.
