Persis Biryani Indian Grill - re-branded to Bawarchi — Restaurant in Ashburn

We went here for a family celebration and I don’t even know where to start....There was another event taking up half the restaurant and the kids were running around screaming, many other guests were as disturbed about it as we were. We didn’t realize the huge bowl of rice that came w/ some of the entrees so we shouldn’t have ordered any additional for dishes that didn’t come w/ rice. So we spent like $4 for ea. extra bow of rice that we didn’t even need. (Now you have a heads up) Our food was good...when it finally came....my kids ordered the kids naan w/ cheese and it didn’t even come out until all 6 adults were FINISHED eating!!! My kids were SO hungry! The guy told me it would be right out, after already waiting so long (about halfway through our meal) when I asked the 2nd time he finally brought them right out... Then my husband and I saw that they have a lunch buffet so we thought we’d give it one more chance....We waited several minutes while at least 2-3 employees walked past us until someone finally greeted & seated us. The buffet was supposed to go until 3 if I’m not mistaken and we were there around 1 but there wasn’t much to choose from. When we got our check the price was higher than what was stated on the sign hanging on window out front & he said “Yes that’s old” & did not offer to adjust the price as on the sign...So we paid the check with no tip...We won’t be going back there....just such...

It was unexpected wonderful experienc at Persis Indian Gill. Let's talk about the food first. I have ordered Chicken 65, Manchurian Chicken, Fried Vegi rice and Butter Nun. The Chicken 65 was perfect, the fried rice was spicy and yummy, the taste was nostalgic because it take me to my childhood. Manchurian was ok but the butter nan was very good.

So for good it's got the 5 star for the food and price as well.

Lest talk about the service. The host Ashima was very polite, she showed us the table and took our order. I was surprised with the service of the water server. He came multiple times to our table and check if everything was ok, as he has visited our table so I ask him name and he replied Saieen(sounds like that's). Finally at the time of the bill the manager came to our table and thanks us for visiting the restaurant. She also invite us to come for weekend buffet lunch. I was pretty impressed with their food and service that's why I took 10 minutes of my personal time to spread the facts about this hidden restaurant.

For the management, please keep up the good service and the quality...

This weekend we ordered food for ~80 people. We were all very happy with qualify, quantity and taste.

We ordered standard Appetizers, Entree, and Deserts. Price was very comparative, staff went out of their way to make sure we have everything needed for the party. They had food ready when we arrived, loaded in car and gave us everything from serving utensils, hot box to stands and burners.

Quality of food was perfect, no complains. Almost everyone asked about the place and they were all impressed with it.

Some restaurant reduce quantity to lower prices. They did none of that, everyone had enough food and we also had some left overs at the end.

Overall it was great, we will be going back over and over. Worth going and...
