Burger King — Restaurant in Virginia

This is for the location in the Potomac Mall area. Straggler asking for food/money at the entrance (I'm sorry that they are in that situation) however it's not a good look... Appearance is everything these days. No greeting when we entered We used the Kiosk Once the order was ready...my name was not called however it was only 3 customers up there including myself and I recognized it was my family's food The soda machines 1 was completely out of service and the other machine was 75% out of product The dining room was not clean The condiment area was messy The mgr was active up front (male) My daughter wanted a toy with her kids meal but was told by the mgr that there was no more and he decided to give a cookie instead without letting us know. As we were leaving my daughter wanted a refill so we went back to the counter and my daughter asked for her refill and another person (male) got it for her and she said she was really looking forward to her toy for her kids meal and that's when he looked and found 1 for her. Then as we were about to walk out the door I looked back as I heard the male mgr tell the team member (male) that he shouldn't have done that because he already gave her a cookie in an aggressive tone. The team member put his head down 👇. That team member did a great thing for my daughter because he wanted to make her smile...I dare the mgr to do that to him.

When did the meaning of customer service become non existent to that mgr?

Went today and dont even know where to start. Ordered my daughter a 6 piece nugget kids meal for the Halloween box and toy. I ordered myself a cheeseburger. Was handed the kids meal in a bag with a chocolate chip cookie. MY DAUGHTER CANT EAT CHOCOLATE! No toy. The employee said they were out of toys and thats why she got the cookie. I asked if she could have ice cream AFTER she ate and he said OK. 20 seconds later he's handing me the ice cream. I had to ask for a spoon. I got a fork because they were out of spoons. Meanwhile I was still waiting on my cheeseburger and went to ask. Employee seemed confused and just handed me one of the heating area. Wasn't mine. Had to go back and wait another 5 minutes for them to make it correctly. Finally sat down to eat when another family came and sat across from us. A boy with a kids meal and a toy with it. Was told they didnt have toys. Oh and my daughter got her nuggets in a bag instead of the Halloween box. Went to ask manager about the toy since my daughter couldn't eat melted ice cream with a fork. Manager had no idea what I was even talking about. He said I needed a receipt to get a refund from days ago. What?? I didn't want a refund. I wanted to know why we didnt get a toy with the kids meal. After explaining time and time again he went and grabbed the toy and gave it to us. This BK is a joke and should be held to BK standards. Dirty uniforms, no name tags, no hats, no idea what they are doing. Manager didnt look any better. Whatever franchise owns this place now really shouldn't...

WORST! Great if you want them to completely mess up your order, argue over it and fail to give you half of what you paid for. Worst Burger King I’ve ever been too. Didn’t have chicken after we had already purchased it. Failed to mention until after the fact and was seemed annoyed that he even had to say it. Then asks us what we want.. we tell him 4 times.. we would like the same meal we already ordered. He finally gets it. Confirms it’s a meal. Fails to give us either meal fries and only 1 drink. Back through drive through we go. He couldn’t understand us throughout the whole process (what should’ve been 2 mins to order almost turned into 10) but instead of acknowledging that his English and/or hearing isn’t great, was rude as hell. Including the older female staff member. Apparently this bloke “Wayne” is the manager… we asked for the owners name. Refused to give it to us or who to complain too. Finally got my burger and it was actually insulting. I didn’t even eat it. After all that. What a friggen joke!! Worst service we’ve ever had in any country and any fast food outlet!
