This is now one of my favorite places to eat. The customer service at the bar was just perfect at every moment. My wife and I went on a lovely date night to Bahama Breeze for the first time and instead of waiting for a table we decided to eat at the bar. This was best decision of the night. The bartender (Zahra) was all smiles and had the best attitude I have ever seen in a bartender. She greeted us like we were part of her family. She knew the menu like the back of her hand and when we asked her what was good, she gave us her honest opinion and we were super impressed. So with her recommendations we had two drinks a Pina Colada and strawberry mix for my wife, and a Mojito for me. The drinks were great. As for dinner I had the flank steak with chimichurri sauce and my wife had the stuffed plantain dish which was amazing! Now, that doesn't mean that both dishes were cooked to perfection, actually mine was under cooked by a lot, but Zahra heard my concern and without hesitation she got a manager right on it and had a new order fired up. Within 10 minutes I had a new order and before she left she had me cut into the steak to make sure it was done just right. This is the kind of service I look for in a restaurant. We were so impressed by the service we decided to order dessert and we usually don't. So, again we asked her for her recommendations and she went with the rum cake, she did warn us that it wasn't a traditional rum cake but it was good. We made our order for the rum cake with an open mind and when we received it we were shocked by how much vanilla ice cream and vanilla sauce it was covered in. Now we didn't blame her for the dessert, everyone has a different taste but this was not ours and that's okay. This dish was perfect for someone that likes their cake to be smothered in sauce and soaked in sugar. Once we took off the ice cream and got down to the cake it was actually good. The sauce was too much and just killed the flavor. We politely let her know that it wasn't for us but we thanked her for her honest recommendation. At the end we had a great time at the bar. The atmosphere was calm and festive. The staff had smiles on their faces, no one seem frustrated and we were there on a Saturday night when it was busy. We noticed that everyone that arrived was quickly greeted and sat within minutes of arriving. The outside area had live music playing while inside had some pop music playing. Our experience here was better than a $50 a plate restaurant in downtown D.C.. We couldn't believe how far we had to travel just to get 5 star service. I highly recommend this restaurant if your spending your day at the Potomac Mills mall. We will be eating at the bar (hopefully again with...

They profile and discriminate! Choose to take my family here today because so far the reviews looked ok and the pictures made me excited about trying them out. I felt deceived the minute we walked in. The hostess didn’t offer a warm polite greeting as most restaurants. In fact I felt like I walked into a gas food burger joint. I mentioned I had a reservation at 2pm and they began to whisper amongst themselves if it was something wrong. After requesting for outdoor patio seating because the weather was nice I was told it’s a 15 minute wait. Although we had a reservation we we’re ok with 15 mins. Approximately 2-3 parties of people walked in behind us and was told the same thing but asked to give there numbers and names so they can call them from the car when there next. 15 mins turned into 30 mins and the other parties were seated. A hostess finally walked us to a table and said someone will be over in a few minutes. 20 mins at the table no one acknowledged us or attempted to serve us. I asked for a manager by a passing server and asked again from another server who stated she will grab the person in charge of our table. Still 10 mins no one came over. The table around us have all been served checks closed and atleast each of them has had atleast two separate parties served before us. Finally when the manager did come and acknowledge he stated he was sorry and will give us a discount and send a server over immediately. 10 mins from that a server comes over and says it’s not her table but she’s helping because that server is backed up. We ordered our kids appetizers and drinks because at this point they getting irritated. And requested via the tablet for a server to come and take our adult beverages and entree orders. Took 35 mins for appetizers and drinks to come out. We finally ordered and it took an additional 45 mins for our food to come out which was incorrect in any imaginable way possible. Wrong dishes and items missing. The food was not tasteful at all and very bland. As open as kids are they told me they were ready to go and it was the worst place to eat in the area. The manger didn’t discount us initially as promised. I asked to speak to him regarding the check and he never came back to our table. We was only discounted 25% on e another manager over heard us complaining. Took them 2 mins to bring us take home containers and the initial check. I believe they discriminated and profiled us the minute we walked in. I would be cautious of this...

So disappointed this time around. We were a party of five, 3 adults adults and 2 children. We ordered our beverages, appetizers and the children's entrees. We were waiting incredibly long for everything with this server. The water came, then the beer and kids drinks came out next was a bar drink and finally after 15 minutes my iced tea made it to the table. The appetizers were delivered then the kids meals. We were through and tried to wave down the waitress for additional salad dressing, a side of salsa and to remind her we needed to order entrees. This gal offered lots of excuses but rarely delivered anything as needed. After placing our final entree orders and receiving the extra salad dressing. She passed our table several times buy never delivered the salsa. After 25 minutes she came back, we had finished our apps and she asked if we still wanted the salsa! We declined, then she came to inform me that the vegetarian version advertised on the menu of the stuffed plantains was NOT available. I ordered something else. During the meal she kept asking us to pass her plates from the table while it was very obvious we were still eating. If I wanted to bus tables I would stay home! We ordered an extra glass of water for one of the children, the server passed the table several times without it and had to be reminded more than once to bring it. This meal took well over 2 hours which is ridiculous for lunch!! We frequent this place and will now have second thoughts...

Very clean, pleasant, and relaxing place to take your friends family, or on a date: The staff was excellent, and overall it is a pleasant place to eat and enjoy a good meal at a reasonable price given today's inflation on most things. I am not a food critic. However, the Jamaican Jerk chicken meal, served with yellow rice and black beans, was delicious. I didn't eat the beans because I prefer to see the grains, and this was like mashed potatoes, but the other folks in the crew liked it. The Cheeseburger was also great! Regarding the Whole Jamaican Jerk Wings, they fell a little short for me, and I may be partial here because of my Caribbean roots, but they should use the same seasoning method that created the Jamaican jerk chicken entrée/meal. Here's why, once again, it's just me: The wings have a slightly off aftertaste and appear more like an "Air Fry meal than marinated with the good spices and herbs known for plain Jamaica jerk chicken. This is a picture of jerk wings. I took some home because they weren't quite ready for me. In addition, rather than an entire wing, I would cut the wing in half like the Classic Chicken Wings. You should be able to pick it up and navigate freely when eating jerk wins. Again, it’s me here, but you will not be disappointed with many other things on the menu. The Virgin Bahamarita was a delicious variety drink that was recommended, and it was a hit. One star off because of the jerk wings' slightly different taste See you again soon.

Bahama Breeze - Woodbridge ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ While on a business trip and looking to try something different, I decided to check out Bahama Breeze. The atmosphere immediately stood out—festive and vibrant with a Caribbean vibe, both in appearance and music. The service was excellent! The server was very friendly and provided great suggestions on appetizers, drinks, and the main course. Here’s what I ordered: Appetizer: Beef Empanadas – Four housemade pastries filled with seasoned beef and potatoes, paired with seasoned sour cream and pineapple chutney for dipping. The empanadas were crispy and flavorful, a great start to the meal. Drink: Bahamarita – A frozen margarita with tequila, kiwi-melon, strawberry, and mango flavors, served with a spiked cactus juice shot on the side. Refreshing and unique! Meal: Skirt Steak Churrasco – 10-oz. skirt steak with chimichurri, served with yellow rice, black beans, and sweet plantains. The flavors were great, and the meal was well-presented, but the skirt steak was a bit tough—still edible, but not as tender as I hoped. Overall, the food came out quickly, everything was hot, and the flavors were spot on. While the skirt steak wasn’t perfect, I’d definitely come back and try something else next time. If you’re in the mood for a Caribbean escape with good food and drinks, Bahama Breeze is worth a visit!
