Burger King — Restaurant in Virginia

We have eaten at this location many times and it's always a great atmosphere, although we hadn't been there in quite a number of years. Last week we were in that neck of the woods again so we stopped in for lunch. It did not disappoint. The food was delicious, hot and fresh! The atmosphere was booming and so was the staff. Everyone was super friendly and polite. The place was very clean, including the restrooms which were just recently clean. The play area that was added on to many Burger Kings a number of years ago, but then later found to be a hazard and an unsafe place for kids to play due to the discovery of used hypodermic needles in some locations, had since been completely removed leaving that space totally empty. There was plenty of parking and loads of additional parking in the rear. We even noticed a cute little bench out front for people to sit and eat on, or just to sit. There was also a drive thru at this location. While there appeared to be some road construction happening on the road out in front making it a little more difficult to get in and out of this location, it was still well worth it as the food and atmosphere...

I had a disappointing experience at this Burger King location around 3:30 PM. I placed an order to dine in, clearly selecting that option, expecting it to be brought to my table as indicated. I waited over 30 minutes for my number to be called — nothing. During that time, I heard the staff call out numbers for other people’s orders, but mine was never announced.

What made it more uncomfortable was that some of the employees kept glancing at me in a strange way while talking and laughing among themselves. It made me feel uneasy. After such a long wait and their behavior, I finally got up and went to the counter — and only then did they give me my food, which had clearly been sitting there for a while.

When I asked why no one had called my number or brought the order to the table, they told me I had to “go up and ask for it,” which makes no sense if I specifically selected “dine in.” The lack of communication, the unprofessional behavior, and the poor customer service from the staff at that time were extremely frustrating. If dine-in orders aren’t being delivered or called, customers should be told from the beginning. I expected much...

I came to this Burger King to get two whoppers and medium fries and a Large Drink but I came with a coupon for: Buy One Whopper GET ONE FREE.. as I placed my order I added cheese to my whoppers which caused an extra .40¢ each. It came up to $12.41 I showed the lady my coupon she still charged me for both whoppers I paid still and as I check my receipt I see I got charged for 2 whoppers a “2 for 6” I knew nothing about. So I came back to the window to let the lady know she asked “can you come inside?” I proceeded on and went inside where another lady gave me $1.27 back from my free whopper, but as I asked “how much are your whoppers” she told me “they are about $5 each just for the sandwich” so I asked “why am I getting $1.27 back then? I should be getting the amount of the whopper and you can keep the .40¢ from me adding cheese to my free whopper.” She then said “ok I can give you $1.40 back” I then just asked for a refund for the whole order and never got an...
