Not sure who ways working when you people got good service but it surely wasn't Sonny.
When I came in he had his back to the bar doing something ( not for a customer), so I deliberately dragged my chair on the floor when pulling it out to make loud noises to the point where another worker heard it and looked at me then him a few times and she saw that he wasn't helping me so she came over and greeted me and handed me a menu.
After about a minute or so passed he turned around and asked me if he could get me anything with an attitude and scowling look on his face. As if it was a bother. Really.
Then an older white group of 4 people 2 men and 2 women came in and he greeted them right away with a smile and laughter while glancing at me with a smerk on his face and discontent in his eyes towards me. Ok.
Going into this place I hadn't eaten all day and planned on getting the fish and chips after seeing it on the menu but only ordered fries because of him. He obviously didn't know this but the simple fact that he behaved like this towards me I would never recommend this place. Being from Vegas I and in the customer service industry I recognize pretty easily bad attitude and poor customer service.
People like him is why this world is going to hell. Prejudging people without knowing anything about them or who they is a horrible move for anyone and that's why I am giving them a 1 star.
So if you like good service when you spend your hard earn cash I'd stay away from here especially is...
Read moreSo I did go to District Chophouse nestled within the airport is an inviting haven amidst the bustle, offering a nice ambiance, amiable staff, and a tidy environment that's complemented by a backdrop of good music. The location's proximity to the restrooms is convenient, ensuring easy accessibility without disrupting the dining experience.
Undoubtedly, the dining experience here is remarkable, marked by hot and prompt food service that arrives within a reasonable waiting period of approximately 10 minutes. The tranquility at noon, providing a serene dining atmosphere, was a welcome surprise.
However, the notable drawback emerges in the form of exorbitant prices, a natural consequence of its airport setting. The steep cost of dishes, especially the sides priced at a staggering $10 each, for items like fries or broccoli, might leave patrons bewildered.
Despite the pricing quirks, the impeccable service overshadows these concerns. The staff's friendliness and attentiveness greatly enhance the overall experience. Additionally, the sparse crowd around midday provided a peaceful environment, albeit somewhat unexpected.
It's essential to note that District Chophouse stands nearly alone before the security checks, making it the primary dining option in the vicinity. No kids menu unfortunately. While the costs might pinch, the overall experience—thanks to the great service, inviting ambiance, and quick service—makes it a viable choice for a satisfying...
Read moreI was looking for a good restaurant upon returning to Virgina after a late flight and thought DIstrict Chop House was the spot. Once my wife and I received our food, they gave us both a side we didn't order--which is why we ordered the dish in the first place. I told the waiter he had gotten our order wrong, only to come find out they did it on purpose because they ran out. So, they took the initiative of swapping out an item without even asking us and thought we wouldn't notice...that's crazy! The waiter did try to give me 2 different options, but those weren't complimentary to what we were eating or even wanting. I asked for them to offer me an appetizer instead that would compliment the food but they wouldn't. Such bad customer service for a pricey restaurant! Thank you for ruining my night...
