Guys, I gotta tell you about this Firehouse Subs in particular. Don't even worry about what you're getting there or when. All you have to know is if Diego is working there. The man is a customer service LEGEND.
I walk into this Firehouse Subs often and Diego never fails to be AUTOMATIC with the greetings and attentiveness to serve me my delicious iced tea to the absolute highest of standards. It's almost unbelievable how one man can perform at such a high level. He may not even be human. He may be...........a customer service GOD.
Just the other day, for example, while all the other sandwich soldiers were fighting a war against the hordes of hungry sandwich seekers, I'm walking through this battlefield and Diego realizes what's about to go down. He peers through the landscape, sees that my thirst is in need of quenching, understands that nobody else can assist or wants to assist, and puts it all on the line....all on his SHOULDERS to run over to the register to help me. I was greeted (with a smile), my transaction was over, and I was on my way within as short a time as it takes a kung-fu master to dispose of a group of armed henchmen.
Whatever Diego is getting paid, he should be getting paid double. They should put him in the Firehouse Subs Hall of Fame. They should even consider making a bronze statue of him and place it in front of this establishment so that generations to come can stare upon it, in awe, and aspire to serve the masses as Diego serves all the hungry people...
Read moreThis review is solely based on the customer service I experienced when I attempted to order a sandwich from this establishment. When I arrived today, I only observed two others in the establishment, one waiting for an order he just placed and one who entered behind me, trying to pick up an online order. When I arrived, I made eye contact with pretty much everyone behind the counter but was not greeted or even waved at. I noticed that the lady who entered behind me was greeted when she entered but she was also complaining because her online order, which notified her that it was completed, was actually not complete and she would have to wait longer for her order to be fulfilled. I gave the staff the benefit of the doubt and waited about 5 minutes at the cash register. After not even being recognized by any staff, I decided that my patronage was better spent at Qdoba a few doors down. I typically enjoy Firehouse Subs and have frequented their establishments in Centreville and Herndon. I appreciate the work they do for the community as well. However, when I splurge and decide to eat out, I don't expect to be ignored. The standards at this establishment need to be raised. My hope is that this review is read by management and appropriate action is taken to train their staff on customer service. It seems I wasn't the only customer there today that was...
Read moreAs many times as I’ve went here, the service has always been GREAT! Until last night, there’s never been an issue. I came in around 8:25, I could see they were cleaning up a little, so I asked, “are you guys still open?” I was welcomed to come in by the 2 short haired girls. I told them I wasn’t sure of what I wanted and to give me a minute… During that time, a young females w/ long, braided hair and glasses came from the back and just started staring at me. A minute later she asked if I was there for a pick up order, which I told her I wasn’t. She then proceeded to look at me as if she was confused to what I was doing… So, I started feeling like her tone, body language, demeanor and everything was just off… I asked her if they were closing, which she replied yeah in 30 minutes. She proceeds to mop and start to make heavy sighs as if I’m standing in her way… I tried moving out of her way, you can see it on camera, to her basically asking me to move from an area she didn’t strike with the mop… I could tell that her attitude had her co-workers on edge. I’m not sure who’s managing that place but something’s gotta be done about her bad attitude toward customers. She had no idea I had already spoken to her co-workers about if they were closed or not, or about giving me a minute to...
