Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Virginia

I'm giving 3 stars because I love the food. I don't go very often but everytime I do, I order online to avoid lines and the wait. I usually have a pick up time of 45 minutes. This most recent time was over an hour. I arrived right at 9:45pm and my order hadn't even been started. This is the case about 70% of the time. I always feel like I'm waiting for them to make my food when the whole point to order online is so I don't have to wait! I'll continue to go back but geeze... you'd think they could have one burrito ready within an hour...

UPDATE Decided to give it 1 more go around and today was even worse. I ordered online with a pick up time of 9:45pm (the only option available) I prepaid so that way it would be a quick in and out since they close at 10pm. Mind you I ordered at 9pm. I arrived around 9:40pm and when I went up to pick up my food the cashier tells me they didn't make it cause they close at 10pm and they werent sure if I'd make it. I told him that the pick up time was 9:45 and he says I know.. now there was 1 woman in line and 2 guys walked in shortly after the cashier told me he'd start making my food now. All 3 of them were out the door long before my food was ready. I explained to the cashier that I was very unhappy because I prepaid and there's no reason for him to think I wouldn't make it and that it seems like they decided just cause its saturday night and things were slow they were going to close early and that no one there had the decency to call me and ask me to pick up sooner. On top of it all, I think the cashier is being nice and giving me one of those small chip bags.. no they were out of chips. I will never be eating here again. If I want chipotle I'll take the extra time to go to the one off of...

This is my favorite Chipotle location. I’m a newer Chipotle customer overall, so I’ve only been to about 3 other locations. My husband loves Chipotle and now I do, too. This place is my favorite because the food is fresh (and so good), the staff are really efficient and helpful, and they (at least when I have been there) keep things quite clean! That includes the seating area. When I’ve been, the staff have been very nice and they don’t make you feel bad if you need an extra moment to decide. Since a lot of folks pop in to pick up to-go orders here, we are often able to order without waiting. They have seating inside and outside. Also, shout out to the cool interior design touches for this location. I think it’s pretty cool, and I like the spacing. Only thing (which they can’t really control) is that the sun very brightly shines through the windows, which doesn’t really affect you until you sit down (if you eat in), so just wanted to add that. If you’re like me and have any sensitivity to light, just pop in when it’s either not a super sunny day or when the sun isn’t at its highest.

I was super turned off by how unclean this location was. From the bathroom, dining room, to the drink machines- everything was just kinda dirty. I sat at a table and got something from the underside stuck to my pants. I couldn't help but notice the level of trash on the floor which implies they don't sweep up during the day or wipe tables. I didn't see any staff on the dining area straightening up in the 30 min I was there. I was there around 3pm and there was no crowd. The drink area wasn't inviting. I didn't feel confident the lemonade drinks etc were fresh based on looks. I took a chance on a watermelon lime drink which was ok and then switched to water. The water from the soda machine dispenser tasted like a garden hose which makes me think the machine isn't cleaned often or well. The food itself was what you expect. I didn't have a problem with the quality, but I don't like the idea it is being prepared in a potentially contaminated environment. The restaurant needs a through wash down from walls to windows to tables and all smaller details. Maybe it's cleaned at night and isn't freshened up during the day. I don't know. I hope this sparks improvement because I can't go back to...
