I have always enjoyed Cold Stone’s cake batter batter, but this visit was unfortunately disappointing. While I generally order via Uber Eats, this was one of the few times I decided to go in person. I’m usually very understanding and respectful towards food service workers, as I know they have their own challenges, so I always try to be polite.
However, on this occasion, when I ordered a Gotta Have It, the woman making my ice cream assumed I wanted two ice creams. I made it clear, politely, that I only wanted one, but there was still a bit of confusion. I also asked for hot fudge, but when I mentioned it, the response I received felt dismissive, and she ended up closing the lid without adding it. When I got home and opened the bag, my ice cream had spilled everywhere because the lid wasn’t fully closed.
Additionally, it took over 15 minutes to receive my order, and there was only one customer ahead of me. The workers seemed distracted and were not very attentive. The table where they mix the ice cream and prepare it was also extremely dirty, and they didn’t appear to clean it up at all. This is concerning, especially for people with allergies, and the spoons weren’t cleaned either.
I would recommend visiting a cleaner Cold Stone location if you want a smoother experience without these kinds of issues, and be sure to make your allergies...

As The “Manager” She Was Very Rude And Racist. She Does Not Have People Nor Any Customer Service Skills And It Makes Sense How Her Workers Acted They Mirror Her Behavior I Feel Sorry For Whoever Has To Encounter Her!
As Someone Who Frequently Goes To Coldstone I Will Definitely Be Escalating This Further I Promise I Will Not Let Up Until This Situation Is Rectified So That No One Else With Service Animals Have To Deal With This Disgusting/Racist Behavior.

I’ve seen their employees use the same hands and gloves they use to broom and sweep the floor to then proceed to touch the scoops and toppings to make the ice cream. Also multiple times they have screwed up my order. Tonight’s particularly I asked for chocolate ice cream, walnuts, and a brownie in a waffle bowl. They proceeded to make it however they wish added coconut flakes and caramel drizzle I had my husband pick it up for me so I couldn’t even correct the mistake because it was too late by the time he got home.
