I have always enjoyed Cold Stone’s cake batter batter, but this visit was unfortunately disappointing. While I generally order via Uber Eats, this was one of the few times I decided to go in person. I’m usually very understanding and respectful towards food service workers, as I know they have their own challenges, so I always try to be polite.

However, on this occasion, when I ordered a Gotta Have It, the woman making my ice cream assumed I wanted two ice creams. I made it clear, politely, that I only wanted one, but there was still a bit of confusion. I also asked for hot fudge, but when I mentioned it, the response I received felt dismissive, and she ended up closing the lid without adding it. When I got home and opened the bag, my ice cream had spilled everywhere because the lid wasn’t fully closed.

Additionally, it took over 15 minutes to receive my order, and there was only one customer ahead of me. The workers seemed distracted and were not very attentive. The table where they mix the ice cream and prepare it was also extremely dirty, and they didn’t appear to clean it up at all. This is concerning, especially for people with allergies, and the spoons weren’t cleaned either.

I would recommend visiting a cleaner Cold Stone location if you want a smoother experience without these kinds of issues, and be sure to make your allergies...

I Walked In Carrying My Dog In My Arms, Shes Only About 5 Pounds One Of The Girls Preparing Another Customers Order Asked Me If My Dog Was a Service Animal, I Let Her Know Yes. She And Another Coworker Started Giggling And Smiling Then The Girl Walks To The Back And Another Girl Who Claims She Is The General Manager Cheyenne Told Me That I Needed To Get Out With My Dog.

I Let Her Know This Is My Service Dog Then Proceeds To Ask Me What Type Of Services As If I Was Lying .. I Responded Legally I Don’t Have To Go Into Detail She Goes To The Back And Googles And Tells Me That She Can Ask I’m Was Not Comfortable Going Into Detail About It.

As The “Manager” She Was Very Rude And Racist. She Does Not Have People Nor Any Customer Service Skills And It Makes Sense How Her Workers Acted They Mirror Her Behavior I Feel Sorry For Whoever Has To Encounter Her!

As Someone Who Frequently Goes To Coldstone I Will Definitely Be Escalating This Further I Promise I Will Not Let Up Until This Situation Is Rectified So That No One Else With Service Animals Have To Deal With This Disgusting/Racist Behavior.

I’ll be a critic when I need to be one and point somethings out if mistakes are made multiple times. I’ve seen their employees use the same hands and gloves they use to broom and sweep the floor to then proceed to touch the scoops and toppings to make the ice cream. Also multiple times they have screwed up my order. Tonight’s particularly I asked for chocolate ice cream, walnuts, and a brownie in a waffle bowl. They proceeded to make it however they wish added coconut flakes and caramel drizzle I had my husband pick it up for me so I couldn’t even correct the mistake because it was too late by the time he got home. A girl just wants to enjoy her ice cream the way she wants and paid for is that too much to ask? And also for it to be up to sanitary standards. Would you want your ice cream toppings to be touched with gloves that have not been changed after an employee sweeps the floor? I don’t think so….
