Weezer, Please!!Weezer, Please!!
Let me be fair & say normally we LOVE Cracker Barrel. However, at the end of October I called in an order for a birthday dinner. It was a few minutes after 8 when I called, as I was placing the order the person told me they didn't have some of the menu items (chicken dumplings, plain dumplings, hash brown casserole or fried apples) I was ordering a veggie plate so 3 of the 4 sides would be subbed. I ask for a fruit cup and extra tater tot casserole. When we got home, we didn't have any napkins or forks & the fruit cup looked at least 3 days past it's prime!! There's no way that anyone thought a person would eat that fruit!!! I understand it was later so I didn't mind the switch but that was just GROSS. The order was around $90 & just not the quality we are used to. I hate to complain....so I have waited to say anything but it just isn't ok to serve rotten fruit to anyone. Don't know if we'll bother again. And I hate to say it because we pick up from them quite frequently. 😔

Mom likes Cracker Barrel, so on our shopping trip for her birthday, we had lunch at the Bristol, VA Cracker Barrel. I would HIGHLY recommend this Cracker Barrel! The servers were super friendly, and we had the best experience ever at a restaurant. First, she brought us each a plate of biscuits with apple butter and jelly along with friendly conversation. When my order of Southern Fried Chicken came, it had two breasts and two thighs (what a time not to have my husband with me to help eat it all). When my sister's came, they had accidentally added seasoning to her hamburger steak after she had requested it plain, so the server brought her a fruit cup to enjoy while she waited the 5 minutes on a new one, and then, they came and sang Happy Birthday to Mom bringing with them two pieces of fresh pecan pie with ice cream. Our lunch experience was one for the books!

Lunch time on our road to Washington DC This was one of the best Crackle Barrel restaurants I've been to in a while. The service was fast and friendly. The food was hot and delicious. I tried the fried chicken dinner, (4 pieces and 2 sides) with turnip greens and hash brown casserole, and it was very tasty. My niece had the shrimp dinner, eggs and grits, which she enjoyed. Our server, Brooklyn was awesome. Even though the place was busy, we didn't have to look for her, she was right there asking if we needed anything. The manager even came to our table to let me know that, the chicken was being fried fresh with a 10 minute wait time. I thought that, that was very thoughtful and courteous. Thank you 😊 Overall, the entire staff and experience was Great 👍🏾👍🏾💯💯

I will never go back to this Cracker Barrel! My sister, cousin and I, we're meeting 2 other family members there from out of state. I walked up to the receptionist to ask for a table for 5. I told her that 2 others were meeting us there. Her response was very rude. She asked how long before they got there. I told her within 5 minutes. She then said that Cracker Barrel would get mad if we sat down holding up other people that were waiting. A waitress was standing there and took us back to a table. I asked the waitress if we needed to leave and go somewhere else to eat. She apologized for the rude manner that I was treated. She had heard the previous conversation. She seated us, and had the manager, Billy, come to talk to me. He was super nice and explained the policy. I told him I understood, but it was the delivery of this from the first lady. My other family members arrived within a short time. Not over 15 minutes. We all ordered. Yes, it had gotten quite busy, enough so that several people brought our food to us. One lady was slinging the food on the table. I ordered a French Dip. She had the bowl of aujus to give me. She spilled it on the table, as well as on my blouse. When I began to eat, I was getting a bite of coleslaw. The was a long blonde hair in it. I asked for Billy, the manager again. I told him what happened. He was very sorry, and took my meal off of the bill. My sister had asked for lemon for her catfish. She never got it until Billy brought it to her. Please try to make sure this doesn't happen again. I personally used to choose Cracker Barrel as my "go to" place for friends and family to meet and enjoy a good meal. Now, I will not be so...

This visit only!! It is USUALLY very good.

We eat at Cracker Barrel frequently - 2 or 3 times per month. We have eaten at Cracker Barrel 3 times in the past two weeks. Tonight we were VERY disappointed. Our server took our order quickly. However, when the food was delivered to the table, we were informed that our vegetables were not ready - and would not be ready for about 50 minutes. The vegetables are the #1 reason we eat at Cracker Barrel. We were then asked to substitute - after the rest of our food had ALREADY been delivered. There were no other vegetables that we wanted due to dietary restrictions. We finally gave a substitute - which we did not eat. As we were finishing our meal, they brought us the vegetables we ordered and some corn muffins - not in a to-go box. We actually expected some compensation for the lack of our ordered vegetables, but none was offered. My son had to request a to-go box by grabbing the manager. The server never asked. My husband was served sweet tea after ordering un-sweet - and it was not kept refilled. My water glass stayed empty for about half the meal. We will probably go to this restaurant again because it is in our area, and we have had good meals there in the past. However, I will NOT recommend...

Went with my family to use a gift card given as a Christmas gift. We were sat and didnt see a waitress for almost 10 minutes. By the time she came, we were ready to order. We ordered and waited another over 10 minutes for our drinks! I was surprised the food didnt beat our drinks. Another 10 minutes of not seeing the waitress, I had to ask for my dads salad. When the food came out, part was wrong and, once again, after waiting to finally see the waitress again, had to ask for the correct items. My dad ordered fish, and a plain sweet potato, he got a sweet potato cassarole that he cant eat so had to wait on the sweet potato, which STILL came out loaded. Also the server didnt say anything about it being 1 or 2 pieces so had only ordered him the 1 piece. He wanted the full dinner. So he couldnt eat the potato, and was left with 1 piece of fish. We just ate and left, as we were in a hurry to go to the Christmas lights before too late, so didnt even bother to complain or wait to have it fixed. I think the server was new, and I am usually always very understanding of waitresses, because I have been one myself, but this was a horrible experience. My moms Christmas gift was wasted on a...
