Im really disappointed here. In-house is a great choice but ordering out was horrible. 3 people to eat and they gave barely a scoop of rice? We ate at the restaurant and the rice was nicely placed in a bowl. I thought we were getting a decent price but upon arrival of the food.... no. The quality was NOT fresh. Definitely was the bottom of the barrel, why was the pupusa small and the chicken stale? Weird. And the time it took to get to us? 1 hour and 10 minutes. Ive ordered from other places directly and had foods delivered in shortest time of 20 minutes. This place was 15 minutes from where I was. No reason it should have taken so long. I love to support locally owned businesses and see others grow but yall cant be out here cheating people of their money. I could have spent that money on the ingredients and fed 100+ people with better quality and etiquette! -10 of 10 for deliveries. Another negative is the y didn't have...
Read moreI went in during lunch hour and did expect to wait since it was a weekend. I got sat right away with intro and drinks being served right away. Chips and salsa were complimentary.
I ordered the taquitos and Sopa de Res. As I waited, I drank my ice cold Modelo while chipping away (see what I did there) at the chips and salsa.
If I would have been at home, I may have drank the salsa. It was delicious. I killed the basket of C&S...and then came the taquitos. The restaurant takes great care in presentation. They looked as awesome as they tasted. I...inhaled...them.
I had to request my entree of the Sopa de Res to go...there was no way I was going to eat it after consuming the appetizer of taquitos.
It did take time to receive the food. But in their defense...they're serving actual quality that WILL be appreciated...
Read moreToday I took the family to this restaurant because we were feeling like eating sea food. The food looks amazing on the pictures so we wanted to give it a try. I had the lobster soup, my kids had the lobster with rice and the other kid had the fried Tilapia and my wife had the seafood soup. For appetizers we had the ???? I forgot the name but it was really good. Like a miniature Zope! The chips and salsa had authentic Mexican/ Guatemalan flavor. Now regarding the food. It was amazingly delicious, just what I was expecting from looking at the amazing pictures. I’m not very familiar with the food from Guatemala, but it seems similar as Mexican. If you are in the mood for some seafood in Woodbridge, This is your place. PS. The restaurant is small and cozy, most people came to pick up...
