I don't like leaving bad reviews but I have ordered from this Domino's location multiple times and every single time the order has been either wrong or unsatisfactory. It always shows up 45 minutes or more late, cold, missing toppings or items, sometimes not even fully cooked. Tonight I decided to give this location one final chance. After the pizza sat at the "quality check" stage on the tracker for 40 minutes I called the store and asked if the food was on its way. I was told that yes, it was on its way. A minute later the tracker updated to show that the driver had just left, so actually it had just been sitting there for 40 minutes. The driver arrived with less than half of the order and what he did have was cold, so at that point I just handed it back to him, called the store and had them refund the order. I don't blame the driver because it was the store that messed up the order. I have no idea how this location has managed to get so many terrible reviews over multiple years and remain the same way it has for all this time.
EDIT:
Well, here we are again Domino's of Centreville Rd. I had no intention of ever ordering from this location again, but I found myself suddenly stuck inside for 2 weeks after I found out from my workplace that I may have been exposed to COVID and I had to self-isolate. So I decided to give this Domino's one very, very last chance, just to see if things had gotten better.
At least this time the order arrived in a reasonable amount of time - I didn't have to call the location to remind them to send me the order after nearly an hour of it sitting around. It arrived actually warm and the full order was there. The toppings and cheese were all fine.
However, the crust itself was maybe a millimeter thick, floppy, and semi-undercooked. This is a problem I have had before with this location, and it was obnoxious to see it happen again. Imagine cheese and toppings on top of a stiff tortilla, and you get something like what arrived. Apparently this location thinks that "hand tossed crust" means "undercooked wafer-thin crust."
And no, the driver was not wearing a mask. I saw him approaching through my window and made sure to see if he was, and he was not.
So my review of 1 star still stands. It is also ridiculous to see SO MANY other 1-star reviews all over this location's page, and so many canned responses from management asking to make it right. We don't want you to try sending individuals new orders, we want you to actually improve the quality of this location and make your employees actually wear their masks during the worldwide pandemic. Just a thought.
Do not order from this Domino's unless you, like me, are stuck inside due to COVID quarantining and have no other choice. The Domino's on Elden St. is...
Read moreOrder from here all the time. Tonight was terrible. I placed an order, to pay with cash. I stated in the notes i only have a $100 bill so i need change. I called in and said “hey i need your driver to bring change for $100.” The lady was polite and professional and said they cannot carry over $20 in change due to robberies. I explained that my new card is in the mail and cash is all i have and only big bills so they would need to either bring change or cancel my order. She said she would cancel the order. I get a callback almost immediately, the gentleman’s first words were “orders already made you have to pay for this” i politely explained the situation and said the only solution i can think of is you send a driver with enough change. He said i need a credit card after i just explained to him i don’t have a card to provide. I asked if there was a manager to speak with and was shocked when he said he was the manager because of how impatient and rude he sounded over the phone. After not providing a solution to the problem, only targeting the problem, he finally said okay I’ll send the driver. I get notified driver is on the way, i wait outside. Meet the driver and he says i only have $45 change (i needed $70). I said I’m sorry i told multiple people exactly how much change i needed and they agreed. The driver was nice and offered to give me a ride to the gas station to get change, he offered to take the $100 and come back with change and i know he was just trying to help but i respectfully declined. I sent the order back. Not to mention having to find another solution for late night food since it is now 20 mins to midnight. The lady on the phone was great, the driver was great. No fault of there’s. Disappointed in how a manager chose to handle...
Read moreIf you want pizza from McLearen Square, don’t order it from this Domino’s store. Order it from Vocelli’s instead. Customer service at this Domino’s store is severely lacking! The quality of the food is inconsistent - sometimes it’s OK, other times it’s overcooked/burnt. When I get my orders delivered, they’re typically late and the food is rarely hot. My most recent bad experience was this evening — after waiting an hour for my order, which was supposed to include chicken wings, I instead received garlic knots. I immediately called the store and requested that they deliver the winds I paid for, the representative I spoke with told me he would talk to the manager and get my wings out to my house. After waiting an hour and a half, I called the store again and was told that since both the general manager and the driver were no longer in the store, that I would have to call the manager tomorrow. Are you F’ing kidding me??! The guy told me that he wasn’t able to send me the wings because the driver wasn’t there for him to confirm. Really? What’s the driver going to do... admit he F’ed up? He’ll tell them he gave me the correct number of boxes for my order. My husband even offered to pick up the wings at the store, but they’re closed for picking up orders at this point. I told them to send a driver with my wings and I’ll give them back the box of Garlic Knots they sent me. After another 1/2 hour they finally delivered the missing wings. It shouldn’t be this difficult to receive what you pay for! Save yourself the trouble - don’t order from this...
