I have been a loyal Dunkin’ customer for years, but this morning I had the worst experience I’ve ever had at any Dunkin’ location. I ordered a small iced coffee with 2 creams, 1 stevia, 3 French vanilla swirls, and a side of hashbrowns. Two younger employees at the register struggled to place my order correctly, so the manager came over to assist.
When I received my coffee, it did not taste right, so I asked for more cream and more French vanilla. Even after that adjustment, the coffee still wasn’t good. Since I’m tired of paying for items I can’t enjoy, I politely asked the manager to remake it. He told me the coffee had already been remade twice and instead offered me a refund. I explained that it had only been made once, and I had simply asked for a couple of additions to fix it.
I questioned why I should have to go to another Dunkin’ to get a properly made coffee when it could easily be corrected there. The manager refused to remake it and insisted on the refund. I expressed that this was poor customer service and mentioned I would be contacting corporate and leaving a review. His response was that he didn’t care. When I asked how someone with that attitude could be a manager, he said it was none of my concern.
I have never been spoken to like that, especially at a place where I choose to spend my money. This behavior was completely unacceptable, and I will not be returning to this...
Read moreOutrage is all I can say. I went to this location this morning to pick-up breakfast and after placing my order, I stood at the pick-up line. The woman behind the counter was watching me ardently and I began to feel very uncomfortable as I was chatting with a crush on my cellphone. Next, she comes from behind the counter asking me what I was doing and reaching for my phone to see what I was doing. She was asking if I was taking pictures. I was just chatting quietly with my friend, but I felt as though I was being harassed (interrogated) for chatting away (quietly) while waiting for my order. I politely asked her what she was doing and she waked back behind the counter withoutan apology. I have never felt so embarrassed because of her actions in the store. To make things worse, they gave me half my order and I asked again politely where my other items of my order were - and they kept me waiting a couple of minutes longer to get two Donuts. Well,I advise anyone coming here to hold your phones tightly or the Dunkin Donuts Gestapo will try to check your phone to see what activities you're conducting on your phone. I can't believe it's come down to this - that a store would permit an employee to behave like this. I will not be visiting this location ever again, I feel the next time I'll have to present my papers to prove I...
Read moreThe Curbside Contactless Pick Up at this location is not curbside or contactless. I waited at the Curbside sign for 10 minutes. Walked into the store and found that my doughnuts were sitting on the counter with the mobile orders. I asked where my drinks were and I was told that the drink orders were backed up. Then I noticed that drinks were coming out with numbers beyond my order number. Asked about the drinks again and was told that the drinks I ordered contained ingredients that were sold out. New drinks could be made, but I would have to wait because the orders were backed up. I requested a refund instead. When I got home with the sealed bag of doughnuts it turned out that my doughnut order was wrong as well. Look, if you don't get the customer's order correct, you lie about what's happening with the order, and the customer has to investigate the details of the order, then you are obviously doing it wrong. As soon as the customer says something about the order, you should be investigating it to make sure the order is right and the customer is happy. And if you are not truly doing Curbside Contactless Pick Up, then do not use these terms. Curbside Contactless means the customer does not have to enter the store. Dunkin' Donuts needs to get their...
