Today, 03/03/19 I went to Dunkin Donuts / Basking-Robbins Store #343294 in Alexandria VA, and I have to say this will be my last time going to Dunkin Donuts and moving forward I’ll be giving my business to your local competitors thanks to the extraordinary poor customer service I received, that fact I was cheated from my money and giving half cup of product and charging full. I started my transaction with asking which drinks are on the deal from 2pm-6pm, and after I was giving the options, I selected my drink, another chai, order 2 sandwiches, and 2 wraps. After I paid and I ate my food I happened to look at my receipt and when I went to the counter this is how the conversation went. I: Hey Joel (the cashier who took my order) I was over charged for my drink when you said it was $2. Joel: Joel responded it is correct because I took off what I could which was $2. I: Thank You, I saw that, but it should have been $3, and not $1. Joel: I can do the math, and I can't do anything else. At this time, I asked to speak to a manager as clearly Joel showed no interest in fixing the problem instead, he began to say it's only a $ not sure why are you making a big deal. UNACCEPTABLE ANSWER AND BEYOND EXPLAINABLE BEHAVIOR. I am giving my hard earn money and for me to be treated like I work for them when we the customers paying their check? Now Joel directed me to his “supervisor”, and OMG this just cannot get any better. I: First to start with your associate is catching attitude with and being disrespectful for no reason when I simply asked him to fix the problem. Supervisor (Regone C. I believe this is his name): What is going on? I: Repeated myself to him with the issue and. Regone : he hooked you up so I am not sure what you complaining about? I: excuse me, you know what, please give me you store manager name and I will speak him to and maybe he can teach his staff the definition of Customer service, and how to speak to your customer. Regone : (He yelled) Listen I am not giving you his name. I: I said okay let record what you are saying right now and how you do not want to fix the problem, you are going to yell at the customer, and when I am asking for your manager name you do not want to provide that. Regone, Joel, and 3rd associate (sorry no name as only Joel was the only one wearing name badge). Stood their disrespected my and failed to provide any assistant or even a manager name who I can speak to? After spending over 15 minutes or even more (review the camera tape), I left, and I was driving I picked up my Vanilla Chai and the cup was half empty. Image attached). So not only I received poor service, I was cheated out of money, and even the chai that I paid full price for. Bottom line, I spent a lot of money at DD and I can give my card for you to review and confirm the validity of my transactions and for me to be treated like this is unacceptable. Read moreWalked in at 8:31pm, 2 young boys behind the counter looked miserable and so unhappy to be there. I said hello and got no response, so I said hello again and still just got stared at. They had ZERO donuts with still 30 minutes left till 9pm when they close. They had money out on the counter like they were closing the drawer already. The customer service that the younger generation gives is a serious problem. I have run a business for 10 years and we don't close till closing time. Who ever is doing the hiring at this location really needs to upgrade their employees cause no responses and being high while counting money with an unlocked door and closing up shop early is not good for business. If this dunkin is privately owned, I'm sorry that you have employees pushing customers out the door by being zombies and I'm sure I am not the only unhappy customer when you have non responsive people running your business. Read moreI have been coming to this location every day for the pasts 7 months buying food, drinks, ice cream and more. Today was a bad experience for me with a old black male associate. I purchased a breakfast meal in the day. When I returned for the second time and asked for a cup of ice the guy told me that I will have to buy something first but he said it in a rude tone and manner. He then turned to the employees making a big announcement telling them not to give customers a cup of ice if they ask for it. I will definitely not be returning to spend anymore money at this place. He is the only person that was rude to me. All the other employees give me a cup of ice with my orders when I come in there. He said that he’s the manager.
