Recently visited the lakeside location to purchase a few dozen doughnuts as a gift to a business we deal with locally- we ordered a dozen plain glazed and half doz of mixed--There were only 6 glazed left on the rack and no others on the way at 5 pm--(they close at 7) we took the six and made a combo of others to complete our 1. 1/2 dozen. As we were looking at the inside of the box-we noticed hair-- the "server" gave use a new box when we noticed hair on the glazed doughnuts-- he removed those - said sorry about that- and replaced them with more mixed-- he then took on a phone call and left us hanging so, we put gloves on and re organized the doughnuts ourselves in what we thought were clean boxes while he stepped away for the phone call--nothing more was offered by this server-- upon arriving to our gift receiptant destination-- we were totally grossed out with the doughnuts - noticing too the remaining glazed doughnuts were very dry and old looking--the store and the whole mess-- we decided to return to the store and ask for a refund 17$ for the dozen (now higher because so a refund 17$ for the dozen (now higher because so many mixed) and 11 some odd for half-- the two "servers" could not grant our request as a manager was not on duty-- UNBELIEVABLE! They gave the manager cell number- we said we would call the next day at the business The phone number listed on the site online for this lakeside location is NOT A WORKING NUMBER!!!- the manager cell we were given is not a working number!!!! This location is 40 minutes from the house and it was a special trips and event that prompted our visit.. The location is not well kept and has gone downhill since opening and to not have a manager on duty is NO GOOD for the safety of customers and for staff--not to mention OSHA AND HEALTH CODE VIOLATIONS-EXPENSIVE LESSON NOT WILLING to risk NO MANAGER IN DUTY AGAIN to ride the 40 minutes to the place to discuss our customer issues--
LOVE KRISPEE KREAM BETTER ANYWAY!!! Broad street location fun people clean store...
Read moreY’all need undercover bosses to come there to get new management and training. I went there to get a simple iced caramel latte. I politely order- “hi can I get a grande iced caramel latte wi-“ I get interrupted EXTREMELY RUDELY “I do not know what a grande is.” Says it twice. It was a mistake that I’m sure happens a lot, but why the heck do you think it’s adequate to cut me off in the middle of my order. So I match the tone and say “MEDIUM, MAAM. With half the amount of caramel syrup please.” She’s very confused so I have to explain 1.5 pumps instead of three. We get to the counter and I see the mean woman making my drink. Tell me why she’s pouring out of the lid SO MUCH SYRUP. I am baffled but I’m like hmm I don’t have my contacts in maybe it was almost empty. Y’all, when I take a sip of this coffee I paid $6 for, it’s literally syrup coffee water. I might sound very picky and rude with this comment, but I’m a very nice person who just doesn’t like attitude and likes a good coffee which is not much to ask for. This place somehow messed both of those up and left me disappointed with a drink that I am not consuming for the sake of my blood sugar levels. I will not be going to this Dunkin ever again. I will say tho, the woman at the window was very nice. Maybe she should take the other woman’s place here LOL. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk and if you like good lattes, don’t come here. If someone’s rude in the window, just keep driving because it’s probably her and she’s really bad...
Read more0n 6/29/2021 at 7:53 am we went through the drive through to get breakfast before our long trip home to CT. We were towing a Uhaul trailer that barely fit through the drive through, however that was the only option to get our food at this location. While placing our order the woman taking the order seemed annoyed that we had a few special requests( My 76 yr old mother traveling with us has dietary restrictions). When we got up to the window, she opened the window and said she would be with us in a moment and then proceeded to pick up her cell phone and talk on it. My husband mentioned to those of us in the car that the phone call was more important than customer service. She then proceeded to hand us our drinks through the window and with an attitude said that she was on the phone with a co-worker. My husband handed her my debit card to pay for our order, we could hear her and other workers laughing after she walked around the corner with my debit card. When we got our food and my debit card back, there was a hair in one of my egg wraps and the other tasted extremely salty. We will not be going here again when we visit. Coincidently my debit card was fraudulently used to rack up over $2,000 worth of charges after this encounter. Its the only time my card left my hands the whole trip. Thankfully, my bank has helped me file a police report and I got my money back. I have the name of the cashier on the receipt...
