First Break Sports Bar — Restaurant in Virginia

Still the best pool tables (notwithstanding the stained cloth) in the No. Virginia area. Food quality has been raised (and prices as well) with the addition of a new good cook. The bar has you covered with the standard array of beers and spirits. Entertainment is still in abundance with flat screen TV's all over (men's bathroom as well) which are tied into a good sound system that enhances sporting events when all the TV's are tuned to the same channel. Think Monday Night Football with surround sound. Dart players are not overlooked with both regular and soft being had with leagues. Separate smoking lounge with its own set of 4 TV's and two hard dart boards and 3 video slots machines round out the First Break experience. Most nights of the week (excluding Fri. and Sat. night) you will find pool specials (~$8) from 7pm to 2am and leagues on Tues., Wed., and Thur. Do not come here… I came a few days ago and gave them my card to start a tab and then paid out in cash. Fast forward a few days later here I am getting charged a $6.96 bill and I WASN’T EVEN THERE. I did not even step foot in the building, wasn’t even in the state and here they are charging my card for what?! Why are you charging people’s cards when they aren’t even there?! Transaction said 9/13/2021 at 12:16am… I was in MARYLAND. Did not even come to Sterling at all. Very janky and super unprofessional then they don’t open til 4 so calling does nothing. Kinda has the dive bar vibe, but not in a bad way. A bit hidden on how you get to it (it is on the 2d floor and not well marked). My only real complaint was seating. This bar is really oriented to the extensive pool table and other games present like Corn Hole and darts (can't really do those at the same time). Screen positions for a game are good, however the domination of pool tables, leaves a small amount of seating space. Seating is not really designed for large groups of people and is best suited to people waiting their turn at one of the games. Overall though, food was decent and the service was...
