MGM Barber — Local services in Sterling

I went to get my face shaved, was greeted likw : whatsupp!!!! With the guy giving more importance to his youtube video than me walking in to a completely empty store on a sunday noon. I should have known already to get the hell out !!! But i am a judgemental person. The guy finally sat me in a chair, asked mewhat i wanted i said that i wanted a clean face, he replied that he understood ! The gentelman picked his clippers up , took the two weeks old hair of my face and said : AAAALLLLLL DOOONNNNNNNEEEE!!!!!! I thaught it was a joke !!!! But no , that was it!!!! I asked.to use the bathroom !!! Went in to recompose myself before i lose it in someone !!!! came back and told.him that there is patches of hair all over my face and how bad would it be meeting up people like that! He.pointed at his.clippers and said i could.do it myself and that his vision is not very good!!!!! And so i did!!!! Finished myself with the clippers ! Something i could have done at home for free, but now i ended up paying 8$ for a horrible service, a very bad attitude and a complete ignorance from this place a bout what a Barber shop is. DDDDDOOOOOOO. NNNNNOOOOOOTTTTT GOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOO TOOOOOOOOO THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS PLAAAAAAAAAAAAACE...

Jeff was my barber. The haircut ended up fine, but he seemed a little timid and parts of his technique had me question whether he was a new barber.

READ IF GOING DURING COVID:

They don't use actual aprons like most barber shops use. They will use what looks like saran wrap, and doesn't even go to your knees, so hair gets all over you. Jeff used a brush half the time to brush hair away from my head as he cut, and the other times he would use his fingers/hands. First weird sign to me. Second, hot hair blower to blow the hair away. The last two barber shops I've went to they used cold hair blowers. Third, is when I was done, there was more hair on me than there was on the ground. We finally found our person! Mr. Carl is amazing, kind, great with my son, and a wonderful barber! We had been at Dulles cartoon cuts but after the closed bounced around. My son looks forward to coming to get his haircut. I recommend to moms, specially if you’re making the transition from kids haircut place to a barber.
