I have been a regular here for almost 2 years now and always put it order through grubhub for pick up ahead of time as my lunch break is short and i dont like to wait for my food to be prepared. The ladies working there have been lovely but un fortunately today i met the boss man. I ordered my food like i always do and when i get there im told my order is no where to be found. I double check that i did in fact place my order for pickup. Then he told me someone else took it. That sucks but i still want my order. He refused to give me my order. So i contacted grubhub about the issue and they called him. He once again told the food was taken. So i told me i wanted a refund. For what!? - that was his response . He told me i shouldnt have been late to pick it up. So i responded that its his responsibility to make sure the correct person gets the order and he said its not and walked away from me. I order with the chipotle next door and you have to give the worker your name to pick up the food. Whereas this place just leaves it out for grabs by the door. The grubhub representative apologized for the inconvenience, refunded my complete order and issued an additional credit to use on my next order. After calling to ask for a manager I was passed to an unknown individual that answered the phone by saying "Hi, what do you need?" No name no proper greeting, nothing. After explaining the mistake, I was transfered from the supposed manager to the poor cashier to retake my order(while I was being transfered I could hear the alleged manager yelling at the kid who made my food for messing it up). Was sent a replacement meal and it too came incorrect. After not being able to connect back to the store I wrote a message to the corporate offices not knowing what more to do. I did not receive a response. I sent another a week later. It took 28 days for someone to even acknowledge the receipt of my email let alone offer an apology. Marc Engelking, the managing partner for what I presume is this area was the one to respond and offered a couple coupons to remedy the issues. To this day(36 days after his response) I have not seen any coupons and when I emailed Marc again, his response was brief and unprofessional, stating "I cant control the Mail. Read moreI ordered online for the second time today and was very disappointed.
For the first time, the order was ready about 15 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. Not a big deal since I understand some businesses are short-staffed and and have new employees. The food that time was fine and I didn't have any issue with it taking longer.
However, today was quite a bit different. I ordered the same thing as last time, a large Italian sandwich and a medium Turkey Bacon Ranch sandwich with no tomatoes. When we received it, the Italian was fine but the other had tomatoes and a lot of olives. My wife has an aversion to olives, so I went inside for them to remake it. While I was there, someone was waiting for their food to be remade and instead just asked for a refund. I wish I had just asked for a refund.
They remade the sandwich without tomatoes, but kept the olives that were stuck to the original meat and cheese. My wife took a couple bites, but she decided to just throw it away. The sandwich was never supposed to even have olives, but there were several each bite.
