This was a wonderful experience for my kids. My daughter asked to come to celebrate her 18th birthday. I was able to make reservations using Google Assistant which was convenient and nice. They were expecting us when we arrived but we did still have to wait for the rest of the party to come before we could be seated. My daughter was disappointed because they didn't have a birthday cake as advertised BUT they did bring her an orange with a candle and played the birthday song. Our party ended up being 14 people and we were at 2 tables that were joined together. The food was good and the atmosphere was inviting. We will surely return.

3.8⭐️ First time trying and I want to go back to dine in! We’ve driven past this place so many times and I’ve wanted to give it a try. Wasn’t in the mood to dine in today, so we ordered to go. I got a volcano roll, and shrimp tempura roll. My husband got a cucumber salad and a butterfly roll. It was all very good! The inside of the restaurant was cute (sorry my samurai pic is blurry) and I do love some hibachi, so I will have to go dine in at some point soon. The food was really good, highly recommend, but I’m not sure how their service is because we didn’t dine in, so that’s why I gave 3.8 stars. I’ll update when we do though!

I've had hibachi and sushi in a lot of places. The sushi here was pretty good. Not amazing. But definitely good. The hibachi was a different story. The show was good. Very entertaining. But the food they cooked was more like a byproduct of the show. Without a doubt, the worst hibachi food I've ever had. That's not to say it was bad. It was just really bland. The veggies aren't grilled enough. Just very little flavor. It's a shame too because the staff was great, atmosphere was awesome. Perhaps it was just a bad night. Worth another try for sure.

My husband and I decided to come back to the place where we had one of our first dates, to celebrate our 12th anniversary (although we have been there quite a few times throughout the years). The food was amazing and the chef was great (those two were the only positive aspects of our dinner). However, they have no wait staff and the owners perform those duties in addition to being the host. My husband never got a refill on his drink (or was even asked if he wanted a refill), the lady came to our table after being seated for a while and asked if we were ready to order without even greeting us or getting our drink order first. THEN, when we got our check, there was an 18% service charge added for a party of 2. There is no where in the establishment that states that there will be an 18% service charge added to every party regardless of the size. The bathroom was subpar, the adjacent tables were dusty, the sushi dining area was closed, and the service was very disappointing. For a hibachi restaurant that holds a pretty pricy cost, there was zero interest by the owner/waitress/sushi maker/host to make us feel welcomed or that they appreciated our business. I can’t say that we will be...

I've been going there for 20 years I understand their food prices should go up with inflation and I'm fine with that but their food quality has gone down was there for my birthday I was very disappointed in their food quality it has gone downhill I no longer feel it's worth the money the show going downhill a few years ago but I didn't go for the show I want because the food when used to be excellentfor instance the soup no longer came with mushroom and onion in it it was just flavored water steak cut back the amount of salad you get two about a half a handful I always get the daily special the shrimp was overcooked the steak was a little undercooked the chicken was still good they no longer give you the spicy mustard sauce I am very sad that it is no longer the samurais...

My family and I went to Japan Samurai on Christmas day 2018. The food was fresh, and it was nice to have something different for Christmas dinner. The Hibatchi "grillmaster" was quite lively and entertaining--very friendly. Everything was tasty and prepared according to the individual tastes of each of us (12 total--one gluten-free.) One to two of us wished for more meat for the entrees, and a couple of people wanted more vegetables, but this was not such a big issue. The only drawback was that the waitress was on the grumpy side and a little short with us. We were wanting the other waitress who seemed to be pleasant and smiling.

Anyway, this is a good place to try, and hopefully, that particular waitress will be in much a...
