Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Virginia

This was my first time EVER eating at a Jersey Mike's. I had a coupon so I looked into them before going. I downloaded the app just so I had some idea what they had and saw that I could get rewards. I didn't order on the app because I wanted to see how it worked and to be sure to get exactly what we wanted on the sandwiches. First, I thought it was strange when I just ordered the sandwiches and was told to go pay without finding out if I wanted any extras on the sandwiches. (Then being concerned they were going to make the sandwiches without me having imput, I forgot about the coupon or rewards or anything. ) Then they let me tell them what to put on one sandwich but they made the other "in the back" without any input from me. And the sandwich THEY consider cold can't be warmed at all. I saw no mustard option. When I got home I remembered the coupon too late but saw that I could put the receipt on the app, but when I tried it said it was either ineligible or already linked to an account. That's when I realized that my receipt says "duplicate" which makes me wonder if they are linking receipts to an account of their choice for free food. And also I believe they charged me too much for one of the sandwiches. When I submitted a complaint online into the company they had a place for a picture of the receipt but the button for attaching the file didn't work. This whole thing was a disaster. And they acted like we should know everything about them and the way they do things even though they had to have realized quite early on that we didn't know their system. And if they wanted you to pay first why do they have you order, go forward, then back up again to tell about what you want on the sandwich. The sandwiches were OK, not wonderful. The bread was the only thing that was very good. If they would just trade bread with Subway, I would be happier...

I had a long blonde hair in the first bite of my sandwich! I DO NOT have blonde hair. I felt nauseous the rest of the day! I mistakenly ordered the sandwich on door dash and attempted to report the issue that way with no help. Of course with doordash you basically pay double whatever the actual cost is, so I paid $20 for a sandwich it’s hair in it!!! I heard bad things about this place like the staff giving the order to the wrong person, person opening the sandwich, looking through the sandwich to see it wasn’t correct and the staff taking it back and wrapping it back up to serve to someone else, but this is my own evidence of how disgusting this...

As someone who works a busy route driving job, I have to choose wisely where I stop due to time. I also have to choose places that are diet friendly for me at the moment. Really disappointed I wasted my time stopping here today. All I wanted was a sub in a tub. Just to be told oh sorry we are all out of tubs. I can understand certain ingredients, or bread. Though tubs? I use to work in the food industry and if we were ever out of stuff, we send somebody to another store to get what we needed. I guess Jersey Mike's doesn't do that, glad I wasted my one time to stop. Looks like I going back on the road with no time to stop again for lunch....
