La Taza Bakery — Restaurant in Virginia

I always had a good experience with La Taza and I would always visit the Woodbridge location. However, I stopped going three months ago because the coffee wasn't the same and the food tasted horrible. My boyfriend and I were in Alexandria the other day and we decided to give La Taza another try. The place was full, so we understood that they would take long with the order. 30 minutes later, the lady arrived with our food and it was COLD. I ordered a pan con pollo and it tasted like everything but pan con pollo. My boyfriend had a breakfast and since it was 6 pm, I thought they had kept the food since the morning of that same day because it was flavorless, cold and those beans made me want to puke as soon as I looked at them. I am very torn about this place. This food is among the most flavorful, clean and authentic tasting I've had in the area but their service is spotty at best. It's a shame because their pastries are very good too. My favorite Latino pastry is the Semita de Pina (pineapple filled sweet bread) and they make theirs pretty well here. Their Pan Con Todo (a deceptively simple sandwich that is very flavorful made of egg, re-fried beans, and avocado) is among the most unique and best tasting breakfast sandwiches I've had. Very unsatisfactory experience here, food is very salty and they take a long time to make Your food, also the manager lady is very rude and cold , I had place an order on the phone and that manager told me that my food will be ready in 10 minutes , I had arrived in 13 minutes, so after I pay for my food, I had opened the box and for my surprise ,that food was very very cold, so when I call her to claim she say that the food was cold because I had arrived in 13 not in 10 as she told me by phone, no make sense the 3 minutes of difference cuz the food it have to be at least a little bit warm ,but instead to reconsider their mistakes, she was arguing...
