Lil' Italian Cafe — Restaurant in Virginia

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lil' Italian Cafe in Herndon and was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance of the place is cozy and inviting, perfect for both families and casual dinners. We were greeted and served by Ismail, whose attentiveness and friendliness enhanced our dining experience significantly.

For my meal, I chose the Saji Beef Sub with Fries, which was absolutely delicious. The flavors were authentic and the portion was generous, making it well worth the price. Ismail made excellent recommendations and ensured that our needs were met throughout the meal.

The restaurant also accommodates various dietary preferences, offering a variety of vegetarian dishes, and they even have a kids' menu which is quite thoughtful. Overall, Lil' Italian Cafe offers great value for money with its excellent service and delightful food. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great Italian meal...

I went to Lil' Italian Cafe for a sit-down lunch. The gentleman manning the front was very courteous and I could tell immediately he was gonna take care of me. I pegged him as the proprietor, because his heart and soul was invested in my experience as soon as I walked in. If he's not the owner, then he sure does deserve a raise, as he represented this business perfectly. My waiter was attentive, food was made fast and tasted amazing (crisp fries, filling sandwich). They even gave me a recommendation for what to drink when they didn't have the Snapple I usually drink and it was as if they keyed into exactly what I was going for. Very strongly recommend you try this cafe. Even if the food wasn't good (which it definitely was), this level of service and genuine, personalized care is sorely lacking in...

Decided to try this place, walked in on a Saturday evening and it was about half full. Two young people on wait staff doing their best to not make eye contact with us, so we seated ourselves. After about 10 minutes, one of them approached us and asked to take our order - we hadn't even been given menus yet. So they bring us menus and drinks and the evening progresses. Ordered our food and waited. Never refilled our drinks. Food was ok, atmosphere was horrible. When they brought our bill, there was a SERVICE FEE on it - no where in the restaurant is it noted that they charge a service fee. Was that for the awful service we received? So I circled it, and wrote this would've been your tip amount, but you charged us a service fee. Never going back and never suggesting this...
