I go a lot because it's literally at the bottom of the hill from my house and I'm super happy it is. They have a large selection of food, and it's always good. I got the steak and cheese stromboli this time with no onions and it was super good. The crust was great while still being very tender inside and not dry like some places across the street... We also got a steak and cheese sub, it was good, but was lacking enough meat. I'd rather them charge me 11 bucks for a over stuffed then 9 and o need to remember to ask for double meat. The baklava with some of the best that I've had in a long time. Oh he also added ribs to the menu... Sooooo good. I haven't ordered any yet, but he was passing them out as samples when I went to pick up my order. Yum! I was very surprised at how good they are. Moist sticky fall off the bone ribs. He said that he's not going to cook them for the menu as spicy as he was giving them out of samples. I love spicy food so I thought it was excellent the little bit of heat that it did have which wasn't much. So if you like spicy tell him to add a little heat to it and you'll love it. If you like spiced fries you'll enjoy them from here.
To reply to people saying the owners are racist, they are not from the US, and they treat everyone with the concern that they might add marijuana and point out the cameras work so you don't try to add it because they've had issues. I'm their enough that I myself have smelled when someone adds it. I'm a 35yo white guy and was told to be careful they are watching. I've seen people walk out and smoke at their cars. I've also seen people be cheap and add liquor to their drink and take it back in. So seems to me they are just trying to protect their business with very good reason, because people are trying to regularly break the rules. Their staff has Latino people, African American, and Middle Eastern as well as white. So the owner doesn't have racial hang ups. He's worried about getting his licenses pulled as any...

I stopped by recently and ordered the Gyro Dinner ($19) and the Chicken Souvlaki Dinner ($19.95), and honestly, I left disappointed with the meals. The gyro meat was so thinly sliced it was burnt, resembling the pre-packaged kind youâd find at a grocery store rather than fresh, quality gyro meat. The chicken souvlaki was nothing more than grilled chicken nuggets served with an abundance of fries, which felt like a letdown for the price point.
On a positive note, both dinners included a fresh, tasty salad, which was surprisingly the highlight of the meal. Still, when youâre paying nearly $20 per plate, the main entrĂ©e should shineânot just the salad.
Where Maggioâs really redeems itself is their bar! The happy hour is fantastic, the drinks are well-made, and the bartender was incredibleâfriendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere at the bar alone made my visit worthwhile. Itâs a great spot to grab a drink at a good price, unwind with good conversation, or even sit solo and just enjoy your thoughts and watch the TV(s).
One major drawback was the customer service from the owner/manager. I stood at the counter for over 10 minutes waiting to place my order, watching both him and another staff member stand around eating. They clearly saw me waiting but said nothingâno greeting, no acknowledgment. If it hadnât been for the bartender stepping in to take my order, I probably...no, i definitely wouldâve walked out.
Final Thoughts: Go for the vibe: Drinks, fries, happy hour, and the amazing bartender.
Skip: The overpriced and cheaply made entrees, unless youâre really craving a decent salad.
Customer service: Hit or missâthe bartender is excellent, but management needs serious improvement.
â Rating: 2.5/5 for food, 4.5/5 for the bar experience.
Recommendation: Swing by for happy hour, but sadly, eat somewhere else first, unless you're...

We ordered delivery for lunch for a department meeting. Ordered the following items: Oven Roasted Salmon (one with rice, one with plantains), Baked Spaghetti with Mushrooms, and Fettuccine Alfredo. Delivery came on time, however both salmon orders came with rice, we were missing the plantains on the other one. My co-worker did not mind since we were already hungry and so we started eating our food. But halfway through the salmon, she saw hair in her food so she lost her appetite and just threw the food away. I ate the baked spaghetti, and halfway though my food there was a THIN WIRE in the spaghetti that I almost choked on. So I called them and asked to speak with the manager. And the man who picked up the line said "The manager is dead" and I said "What?" and he said "the manager is dead, he passed away yesterday." And I said "so who is in charge now, who can I talk to?" And he replied "The Maggio family is in charge but they are in New York." And I asked "When will they be back in the area". And he replied "They won't be back, they live there." And so I ask again, "So who is in charge now?" And he said annoyingly "I told you the Maggio family!" and he hung up. I'm guessing the person was tripping. So here I am writing this review. And I have three other witnesses (my co-workers) who can vouch for this story. Be careful what you eat, you never know what is in...
