McDonald's — Restaurant in Virginia

I deeply,depply appreciate staff's kindness (It is not really about food.)

12th,Oct,2023// 8-10pm (stayed about 2hrs)

I and my friend stopped by here to grab a cup of coffee to catch up after a concert. My friend was sitting towards one of the doors and she stated that there is a man who has been standing at the door ever since we've arrived, made multiple eye contacts w/ her and it made her feel very uncomfortable. So she moved next to me so that she doesnt see him any more.

About 10pm, we tried to leave and he was still at the door as if he was waiting for us. So we went back into the store, he followed us in, started talking to us and we ignored him then stopped/ standed at the cashier. He went out to another door. I explained whats going on to one of the staff at the register and asked him if he can walk us out, if he doesnt mind. Then the other 2 female staffs joined us and volunteered to walk us out all together. OMG!!! How nice they are!!! I almost cried.🥹 Especially female employees were tiny ladies but they marched out like soldiers.

As soon as we stepped outside, that weirdo came out from under the shadow of trees and staffs were asking/shouting at him what he is doing here. The weirdo said 'oh, are yall together huh?' and we said thank you to staffs and hopped on our car and left.

Surprisingly, this is the 2nd time that this happened to me. Exactly same situation but in El Paso,TX, back in 2012, around 10pm. And!!! A female manager of the store walked I and 2 other friends out to our car and the man who was waiting for us literally bolted out from the bush near our car. OMG... McDonals staffs saved me twice!!!

I mostly use Drive-Thru but sometimes I would like to grab a cup of coffee quickly w/ friends at night...then this happened again. I think I will just stick to Drive-Thru no matter what, from now on...

I just visited this McDonald's today and have visited it on several occasions. They constantly undercut the order.You pay for something they don't provide it. You ask for something they don't get the reason why you're asking for it. I ordered a large fries today. I got the large fry container but enough fries for a small one. Previously, I've ordered cheeseburgers. Asked for no onions, no salt, extra ketchup; I get a burger with no ketchup at all.... Just had another visit. I don't understand what's so difficult about putting extra catch up on a burger... Ever since covid , all service workers at fast food restaurants like mcdonald's and burger king Just don't give a shit anymore. Maybe higher people that really want to work and can speak and read english.. The owner of this store should feel ashamed. The quality of mcdonald's is what makes McDonald's. Both burgers were not supposed to have onions on them.One has onions on them.Thank you very much for not caring about your customers. I wish corporate would take away your ability to run the store or come in and take over your Staff needs to Change either get better or Go work...

Between the bums and the inattentive customer service, this McDonalds is definitely on the lower end of the fast food chain. I will say that the food is normally hot, but you will get an occasional "old fry batch". I have been here many times out of convenience and I can honestly say that there are always neglected dining tables here. (I'm talking like all day long dirty, not a customer just finished eating dirty). Out of the many bad things I can say about this resturaunt, there is one shining star that glows at this establishment. It is one of the managers/shift leaders. SHE is a beast when it comes to handling rude customers! She definitely does not take any stuff from the people who are just there to make other people's day miserable. All in all....when compared to other McDonald's in the immediate area, I would still choose this one over many others that are close by. At least it is in a convenient location and the food is...
