Short version: They’re great, they’re insanely busy, and they’re handling your food, so be kind and patient. If you have an issue, just gently ask them to fix it and they will. Your burger isn’t more important than basic human decency. I say this because of some of the reviews I’ve seen below, acting like your nurse gave you the wrong chemotherapy or your doctor hacked off the wrong limb.
Details for management/corporate to recognize their staff for, on 7/17/25: I went during a very busy time (1:30pm) and there were a ton of cars in front of and behind me. I only waited for about 2mins before being able to order, with 6 cars ahead of me. It sped up when the customers started using the (entirely open) 2nd lane as I pulled into it.
I got through from placing my order to finish (including waiting to the side for my meal) for a total of 7mins. Pretty impressive.
The young lady on the intercom needed me to repeat myself a few times because it was crazy busy in the background, and I have a voice like a little flute. She was very patient with me and apologized to ME for not being able to hear my whispering sweet little nothings, five feet ahead of where I should’ve been for the intercom.
The male employee ran out two meals and handed me the wrong one, because I said “yes” to the wrong one (they were the exact same order, except I ordered fries and the other guy didn’t. I was excited so I said, “YASSSS!” immediately after he mentioned my burger).
Guess what? The other customer and I both told him, and he immediately fixed my mistake. I made the poor guy take an extra lap in the 100° weather bc I didn’t listen- sorry, dude! Great attitude!
My order was hot, delicious, and accurate (when I stopped “lying” and took the correct meal). I asked for no onions- there were no onions. I asked for ketchup and mustard packets- there were two of each (the perfect amount for my 1-person meal, and they asked first if that was enough).
This place STAYS busy and I’ve never had an issue. But if I did, I’m sure they’d fix it kindly and immediately. Great customer service. I work in healthcare and I seriously don’t think I could handle this job, at least not at this location.
I’ll be back- that’s a promise, not a threat! Or I guess it’s both. I’m realizing I’m a terrible customer and I’m so sorry. I’ll do better next time. Maybe. I’ll try.
I’ve also gotten delivery multiple times, which has always been on-point. And I dined-in many times when I was like, 4, and I have no complaints that I can...
Read moreWent inside to order one 10-piece nugget combo meal (with a bottled water) for my son. When I approached the register, I noticed a sign on the counter that said something along the lines of the restaurant was working on achieving the best of the best drive thru service. That may be true, but at least for my order, I can say that the restaurant's counter service is suffering majorly as a result.
The scene: One person was back behind the counter looking at one (of two) monitors and filling orders; I stood there long enough watching and waiting for my order that I realized that he was focused on the getting the drive thru orders completed, and paid no attention to the other monitor, which became clear was for the counter orders (I could read my order on that other monitor). Meanwhile, the cashier who had taken my order (there was only one counter cashier) was taking orders from other people at his register after taking mine, and only when the line cleared did he proceed back and look at the other monitor and start to fill my order. Meanwhile the manager walks up, asks me if my order had been taken (I replied, "10-12 minutes ago, at least"), and proceeds to bark orders to the staff that my order needs to be filled. So the drive thru monitor-focused person then looks at the inside monitor and starts to fill my order, not realizing that cashier guy is already filling it. I start to receive an order from both cashier guy and drive thru person, till drive thru person realizes that the order was prepared twice.
I know it's not a fancy restaurant. I know it's not expensive food. A part of me feels like I shouldn't have spent this much time on a review. But...they call it fast food for a reason. And fast food can only be fast when an efficient system is followed. This McDonald's wasn't fast at the counter. And from what I observed, whatever system McDonald's has in place isn't being implemented...
Read moreEdit, 1 day after editing to increase rating: y'all forgot my sauces again. That I paid for. And I will be by soon to collect on my lame half-full large fry from a week or two ago. Decreased rating again.
Edit: Aug 2025. I dunno. I don't go as often anymore but I had breakfast today and increased my previous rating a bit. Cheers.
EDIT 2 yrs later, 2023: Does anyone work at this McDonald's in the front anymore? I waited 15 minutes just to have to stop an employee and ask them to fix an incorrect order. No one checked on the 5 of us standing in the lobby or asked if we needed help. I guess they just assume everyone ordered already. I get that a lot of people do order through the app and drive-thru, but someone should still be helping those waiting in the lobby. What happened to customer service?
Original, 2021: Every time I go to this mcdonalds something is wrong with the food. The last two times alone were absolutely horrendous. The last time I went to this location I ordered a 20pc nugget. They were cold and hard, and overcooked too. It was clear the vats needed fresh oil and the oil they were using was old. I was sick all night from eating them. Tonight I ordered a double cheese with only ketchup. It was smooshed as flat as a pancake and looks like it was done on purpose. It's still edible and is just gonna have to be tonight because I just wanted something fast to eat to curb my headache and go to bed for work, but this is honestly just unacceptable. I worked at a location a decade ago and know it's really not that hard not to smash a sandwich when wrapping it, so I have to assume this was done on purpose and someone just thinks it's funny. I mean, just look...
