I recently had the pleasure of dining at McNamara's Pub and Restaurant and I can confidently say that it was a fantastic experience. Being from Ireland, I am always on the hunt for authentic Irish cuisine, and McNamara's did not disappoint.

Overall experience: happy I live right next to this pub and after the lot had been empty for over a year I am very exciting for its opening. My husband came here with his co-workers first and they love the food choices and how it was not too noisy and how they can enjoy having conversation.

When I visited there first time, the bar was packed as there were some games going on but I sat at the table section and it was quite specious. My waitress greeted me quickly and she had been attentive thru out my time there. I ordered regular fried chicken tenders, but they don’t just taste like other chicken tenders I had from other places, they taste very good! maybe because of different kind of coating flour, I don't know. For that, I order take out here from time to time when I’m in the mood for chicken tenders for lunch.

Got a chance to have a brief chat with manager/owner and learn that they also do special event if you plan to have an event here with finger food etc. Ask him more for details.

I can’t speak for the bar part or the live music part as I usually visit during the day. Personally, I’m not a fan of a place where I have to yell at each other for a conversation. I will have to visit there during evening time for more...

I'm giving this place two stars because the owner seemed nice and they had live music. Other than that, this was a terrible experience!

Walking in, we waited for 10 minutes for someone to seat us. There weren't any staff in sight, and the owner walked in and was the one to actually give us a table. After that, he tried to take our orders but needed to get a waiter because he "wouldn't remember all that" - we got omelettes and nothing else. The process of ordering our omelettes took an additional 30 minutes as the waiter wasn't altogether interested in talking to us.

My love says his food was okay - I don't see how it could be. The breakfast potatoes were alright, but my omelette tasted like someone was forced at gunpoint to make an omelette without knowing what eggs are. The bread that came with our food came out toasted but completely dry. We had to ask for butter, and they brought out two pats of lukewarm butter and three measly containers of jam.

After choking down what I could stomach, we then had to wait an additional 10 minutes for the check. The waiter didn't check in at all on us and seemed to need a reminder that we were sitting in his section.

There didn't seem to be anyone else there besides the friends and loved ones of the musicians, and now I understand why. Don't spend...
