We are here for work and staying at the hotel right around the corner. We decided to come here because we had been here before and it was good. This time we were told that there would be a 15-minute wait and I assumed because there was hardly anybody in the restaurant that there was a shortage of staff which was no problem for us, we understood. We sat down in the bar area and the bartender, who was amazing by the way, immediately came over and asked us if we would like to have a drink and gave us some menus. We ordered a drink and then we ordered appetizers. The bartender came back and we ordered our food. I ordered baked potato soup and a sweet potato and my coworker ordered a meatloaf dinner. About 30 minutes later our food came out but we still hadn't received our appetizer and since the food was brought to us by a food runner and not our server, we told the food runner that we didn't get our appetizer and he said he would take care of that for us. The bartender came over and we let him know and he just took it off the bill, I said don't even bother bringing it since we now have our food. Well my companions meatloaf had no gravy on it his potatoes were cold, it looked microwaved. My soup had a congealed top to it and it was a with large slices of onion in it.... My sweet potatoes were also cold. When they brought the gravy for my co-workers dinner it was in a little plastic souffle cup that looked like it had been microwaved because it had a little melty part on the side. I'm assuming from all of this not only were they short on wait staff but maybe the cook didn't show up for the evening either. With that being said, I really believe that the menu is way too robust for this establishment, there's too many things on it and if they scaled it down then they wouldn't be having so many issues in the kitchen and trying to serve things that they don't really know how to cook. And the fact that they had three people at the hostess stand and 2 food runners, but not enough wait staff, I would assume that they would train the hosting staff how to be waiters and waitresses when there's problems like this. All in all I believe it's more of a management problem than a staffing problem and they should really cross train and utilize a smaller menu to do a few things well, rather than 100...
Read moreSo me and my sisters came here for a day out and since we all have full-time jobs, it’s hard for us to get a day together and we finally did and we decided to come here now this is not The O’Charleys that we come to often we were around this area so we just picked to go to this one but when we got there no one was at the host stand and multiple workers walked by and just looked at us there was another party of 7 in the waiting area with us then finally the manager came over but he didn’t say anything to us he avoided eye contact with us and he just was fixing menus then he sat the party then came back and sat us now I’m a waitress myself so I’m very understanding when it comes to going out to eat but anyway I already knew that the service might be a little slow because when he sat us the waitress was already running around trying to get to tables but it didn’t take her long to get to our table and she was very nice we told her our drinks and we needed more time with the menus so she got us our drinks and she came and asked us if we were ready to order we told her yes then she had to run to another table so it was still about 4 to 5 minutes before she came back to our table then we ordered and the food took so long to get to us we were waiting for about 35 to 45 minutes for our food and when the food got there my sister had ordered the cajun chicken pasta and it was so watery she took 1 bite and couldn’t even finish it and she asked for the manager and when he came over she told him and he let her get a different meal with no problem but my stake was nothing but fat I couldn’t even eat it I got like 2 or 3 bites and I couldn’t eat no more also I asked for it to be medium well and it was so much blood in it but I just ate my sides and left it alone because we had waited for so long for my sisters food that by the time I was able to order anything else we would have been there all day long but I gave 3 stars because the waiter...
Read moreMy family and I went right before dinner rush started. It didn't take long to be seated but our waitress took btwn 15-20 minutes to come greet us and that was after we asked the hostess where our waitress was! When she finally came she was huffing and puffing and all exhausted I guess from working so hard. We had our whole order ready, she took the order and we didn't see her again til another 20 minutes with our drinks. I ordered an alcoholic beverage that I watched dying at the bar getting watered down by the minute. When she finally brought it, it was watered down and the glass was wet on the outside because it sat so long. Once the food actually came one of our meals was cold..like, everything on the plate, so she didn't eat it, just boxed it. Another one of our meals was bland with absolutely no seasoning, and thankfully mine was hot with the fish I ordered right out the grease. After that, she still took all day to refill 2 drinks. We had to ask for the tab and she even took long coming to get our cards to pay the tab! We had to flag her down, we just wanted to get out of there. So, we tipped the bare minimum and not sure if we'll ever go back. And to also mention..the table next to us had a different waitress and complained about their food and service the whole time as well. Then! The manager was oblivious to everything. Instead of hosting, he should of been helping doing other things. He just looked lost. I feel he should of noticed all the complaints and jumped in to helped in a different way. There was a bus boy walking around being weird and singing and rapping inappropriate songs. It just wasn't professional. We were very...
