Overall Rating: 5.2/10 This establishment attempts to blend fast-casual and full-service elements, resulting in a mixed dining experience where the environment and service don’t fully meet expectations.
Atmosphere: 4.3/10 The venue functions primarily as a pizza and sub shop, but attempts to offer a full-service dining experience, which feels somewhat mismatched. The space is described as packed and cluttered with signs and decorations, which can detract from the overall ambiance. The friendly staff does add a positive note to the setting.
Service: 5.1/10 Service was basic for what is essentially a self-seating establishment. Food was delivered quickly, which was a plus, but the lack of follow-up on the dining experience left more to be desired, especially in a setting that hints at fuller service.
Food:
Steak and Cheese: 5.3/10 This sandwich was decent, with a good roll and adequate flavor, but it lacked sufficient cheese and steak to elevate it beyond average. A touch more black pepper might enhance its taste.
Ham and Cheese: 5.8/10 A solid offering with fresh-looking veggies and a tasty roll. The sandwich was well-prepared, though unremarkable in terms of culinary creativity or standout flavors.
Value: 5.7/10 Overall, the pricing was reasonable for the food provided. However, the service model—being more akin to quick service than full dining—made the idea of tipping feel less justified, especially given the minimal interaction with...
Read more3/3/20 I ordered a Large sausage and mushroom pizza from Joe's. Due to personal reasons it took me over an hour to arrive. I expected my pizza to be warm even cold which was fine because I didn't plan on eating it until later in the evening. I didn't expect 2 slices to the pizza to be missing along an explanation that said well, you were late so we wrote it off and removed 2 slices. Naturally, I expected once I arrived and was confronted with the missing slices that a new pizza would be made and NOT A pair of slices to be re added to the pie. Then I was told, I shouldn't have an ATTITUDE while also telling me I need to accept the cold pizza and the freshly made pair of slices. I politely but Directly explained to the older female manager that once you write off a pizza that a customer failed to pick up and remove slices you are then obligated to make A NEW PIZZA especially if you have taken the customers money by phone. Reluctantly the pizza was made. Not sure if I will eat there again. They might remember my name and when I order pizza by phone in the future make me THAT SPECIAL PIZZA THATS...
Read moreSo food and customer service (due to the pandemic) are how I review a place. So the food here was the following: Black Olive, Bacon, Mushroom Pizza Mozzarella Cheese Sticks Greek Salad Pepperoni and Fresh Garlic Calzone ... they were hot, and well made & dressed. However the pizza was one note (bacon was salty and just midly crunchy), the cheese sticks were bland, the calzone was heavy handed on garlic (my choice of topping though perhaps roasted garlic would be a better menu choice), but the Greek salad was packed with cheese and olives. The service was fine, the transfer of ordered items was smooth. I do appreciate the hot items being kept warm on top of the oven, but it was minimal. All in all the experience was not bad, just average and they did not stick out or make me want to got back immediately. As for pizza they are out classed by a private selection pizza from Kroger. Not a recommend stop, but I wouldnt warn you about...
