Paisano's Pizza — Restaurant in Virginia

I would like to submit a compliant in regards to the Gainesville location. Today (12/28) I placed an order over the phone for a group order. The lady on the other end of the phone gave me grief when I said this is for 5 orders and will be paid separately. Following the phone conversation, I realized I made an error in one the orders so I immediately called back to make the adjustment. This time I spoke with a different person and apparently adjusting an order was too difficult because the phone was passed to a different person, mind you this was the 3rd person I spoke with who was just as unfriendly as the first and yet it was still rocket science to make a simple adjustment to an order. Come pick up time for the order, all 3 have managed to mess up 1 order and was giving the person an attitude and blaming him for the errors. I have worked in the restaurant business for 5 years before and never has it been an issue to void an order or item due to not listening properly when entering the order into the system. So during all of this and the countless times we explained what each order is, the food was still wrong. And because of the delay at the restaurant the rest of the order was sitting and getting cold/soggy. I have ordered from this location, and others, numerous amount of times but never have I ever been treated like this form any of the locations or any other establishment before. Aloha Ipo here from 808 Phat Gurl Status sharing my Aloha about Paisanos Pizza in Gainesville, Virginia, at Atlas Walkway, is absolutely worth a visit. I had the gyro with a small fries, and both were amazing. The gyro meat was juicy and full of flavor, with a generous portion that didn’t feel skimpy at all. The vegetables and cheese were well-balanced and distributed perfectly, making every bite just right.

The small fries I ordered were perfectly seasoned with a nice crunch, even halfway through my gyro. They stayed crispy and flavorful, which I really appreciated. I added ketchup to the fries, and their gyro sauce (I think it’s tzatziki) for the gyro, which complemented everything so well.

At the time of this review, the gyro was $10.99, which is the going price for a gyro in this area. The small fries were around $2 or $3, making it a great deal for the quality of food you’re getting. And of course, with good service and friendly owners like this, it’s always worth leaving a tip.

I did make an error when placing my order. Luckily the web site send a copy of your order. When I reviewed it I of course made the error so I called to correct it which went smoothly I thought. It took at least an hour to receive, I asked the person at the restaurant to add a tip amount to the revised order and was told ok. When the driver delivered, I answered the door holding on to 1 dog trying to quiet another as my husband was in bed. I had asked the order be left at the door. Well.... I had to answer the door asked the driver to sign my receipt. I was only given part of the order, the driver said that was all there was which was not true as I saw more in the bag. Was told to call the Restaurant which I did, was put on hold, finally the Restaurant came back on line and said the driver as on the way back to me with the rest of my order.
