Out of every time I've dined in or taken food out in the past 3 years, I've received the correct food items maybe once. They're always forgetting something wether it's sauce, my whole sandwich, my drink, sides... I'm actually struggling to think of one item they haven't forgotten at least once. Most commonly it tends to be my sides and sauce though. I don't usually order anything extra.
Their food quality itself is lacking compared to other Popeye's establishments. The chicken is usually spongey, the biscuits are left out too long without a new batch (stale, uncomfortably hard to the point where I've thrown them out rather than enjoy the salty deliciousness I expect), and I've had them out of both chicken and shrimp on one late night venture.
I've been told that biscuits no longer come with a combo before when I asked after noticing I was missing biscuits. After, as politely as I could, pointing out the menu above their head which explained what was included with a combo, the worker reiterated that it was a recent change and I didn't press the issue.
That being said, the staff had been far more polite and just generally more affable than in other fast food chains in general. It's just a shame that they consistently forget items and keep food out for far too long.
Last time I dined in there, they had seating in the rear corner which is no longer there, at least since I've gone to pick up food on a different day. Read moreWent by this Popeyes to grab lunch for myself and my co-workers and I really feel like they should get a new manager, she was so cruel and rude to her employees and it just made me feel so horrible for them. They all look miserable and honestly if I had to work with a manager with such bad energy like that, I would be too. The gentleman who took my order looked terrified when I told him I had a coupon, he explained to me that he was dreading calling his manager over (i guess he was in training), I thought he was joking with me but once his manager came over to help she began yelling at him (in front of me) telling him that he "needs to learn to read" and that he "doesn't know what he's doing", I felt so bad for the man and I could clearly tell by his facial expression that he felt humiliated. She proceeded to have an attitude the whole time and even started cussing and throwing around F bombs in front of customers. I don't even want to come back to this Popeyes because if the employees and manager are this miserable and unprofessional what would stop them from messing with people's food? Like I said I think they need a new manager, who will not only properly train the employees but also have a positive vibe in order to create a positive energy and work environment. Read moreWe did not get to eat here due to exceptionally rude customer service. My daughter and I went here late at night on a weekday. There were no customers inside and no cars in the drive-through. My daughter asked for an item that I didn't see on the menu and so I asked if they had it. The employee's reply was a terse, "Yes." I asked if it was the same price as a similar sandwich and, again, the curt, "Yes."
This took all of about 90 seconds, and then I needed to decide on what I was eating. Having only eaten at one Popeye's before, around seven years ago, I asked for a minute to decide. The employee began to repeat over and over that they, "have a limited time drive-through." She kept cutting me off and would not even give me 10 seconds to think. I pointed out that there were no other customers in the drive-through, and she just cut me off again. After this happened about five times in succession, we left, and they lost our business for good.
I can understand having a time limit during busy times, or even if somebody is taking an exorbitant amount of time to order, but not allowing for even two minutes when there are no other customers? They are clearly not interested in...
