I have been going to this restaurant since the day it has opened and have been a huge supporter by suggesting it to my friends and family for years now. The food is amazingly delicious. My family use to love visiting this place for simply how great the food is at shahi kabob. The customer service was great too when it opened couple years back when Aisha and the chief was working their. They use to come out and ask you if everything was good and how to make our visit more pleasant. I was really happy to find a restaurant in Woodbridge area that is serving food which is close to back home and authentic. But I regret to say that customer service has dropped down to the bottom over the years. This is my third time in the past month alone that I have had a terrible customer service experience. The most recent one was yesterday when I called them around 9:15pm and they put me on hold for 15 minutes and then hang up on me. I called back again only to hear the phone keep ringing but no one to answer. I called a few minutes later around 9:40pm this time only to find out that I couldn’t place an order because it was their closing time and was too late. Which is clearly not my fault since I called around 9:15 and was put on hold forever. Anyways the option which they gave me was that I can only pickup buffet and they can’t do too much about it. I was really disappointed since I had guest at my house waiting for dinner to be served. At this point I tried calling other places but all Desi restaurant in the area also close at 10Pm so didn’t have much luck. I had to drive all the way to kabob palace which is atleast 30minutes away from Woodbridge to get food for my guests. The girl at the front counter which I assume is from Pakistan as I am is very rude, they do have some other staff which is a little bit ok compared to her but the restaurant as whole need a really big improvement. I would like to request the management to take a serious action and look into their customer service as it has been terrible and getting worse by the day. I am really hoping they turn around and do something better here as I and my friends n family really enjoy the taste of shahi kabob. Read moreI was there today (05-08-2020) around 4PM. My wife had placed the pick order for me to pick up. This is my place to go their food is good the owner is very humble and chill guy and always treats customers with respect. I am a business owner for almost 10 years now.
This lady at the counter is super rude i don’t know how she got that kind of powers to slam doors on customers and show extreme anger over small misunderstanding.
When i walked in there was lady standing already waiting on her food so i stood into lane started waiting on my turn because no one was at the counter. Finally she comes back and she looked at me called me to the counter as i walked up to the counter and said i have pick up order she cuts me off right there and asked me to hold on a minute let me help this lady first as if i have broken the lane and walked up there. I said ok i am fine with it .
when my turn came i tried to tell her that it was misunderstanding and she goes like from BOTH SIDES with really angry face . I looked at her and said there is no point of argument i am just trying to explain and she started walking towards the back door and slammed the door on me as if she is about to do something.Came back gave me food with really rude way which is not acceptable.
she might be fasting but that doesn’t mean she can be rude with customers. she is quite young and she needs some more training on customer service .

Read moreI love the taste of food and I believe Chef is an expert. But recently the salads at the front served were stale and old. The only star I’m putting for review is for the chef. Rest of their service needs improvement.
These are some of the problems which I’m very much disappointed about and hopefully the management can fix them:
Cleanliness and Hygiene: Bathroom is always unclean. It shouldn’t be difficult to assign someone to clean the bathroom twice a day or as needed.
The sweets in the front were scattered around and they were old. Also when asked about when the sweets were made, the girls couldn’t answer. Maybe put up a sign that says the date when they were made and update them frequently so they would know and maintain food safety.
Poor Customer Service: The girls don’t know anything about the food they are serving such as ingredients, spice level or name of the sweets. Their only answer is they don’t know. It would be better to have someone who is knowledgeable about the food they serve.
Long Wait Times: It takes more than 30 minutes everytime, no matter what you order.
Lack of communication: The girls are pretty rude to customers who can’t speak English. Maybe hire someone who can speak both Desi( Urdu/Hindi) and English.
Update [12/21/24] - Bought a 5-piece chicken seekh kebab for $15. In the past, the portions were large enough to feed one person, but now the size has significantly decreased while the price has increased. At this point, it no longer feels...
