Ok, sooo Red Robin has been an easy go-to fast food restaurant for me for over 14 years. When I first discovered the Fairlakes Red Robin it was new, shiny with a very eager corporate energy behind it. That definitely was displayed every time I walked in and ordered. I have seen at least 15 menu changes in this time. Every single time I have been seriously disappointed with corporates decisions and changes. So have other customers and employees. Red Robin is very well known for their house blend chili and milkshakes. Can you believe Corporate had taken off this customer favorite (chili) for some time before it finally and wisely was brought back! Today I came in wanting their crispy chicken salad with lemon poppy dressing on the side. Years ago when I ordered this salad, the romaine lettuce was green, the chicken was real and fresh, and they had a delicious italian-style oven roasted bread to go with this salad. The bread changed to a pita slice, then a cardboard-like bread, which is truly awful, and now it seems they've gone to simple crouton dropped in the salad! Instead of ordering the salad (-no romaine or spinach leaves-) I ended up ordering a simple BLTA(avocado) croissant sandwich with sweet potato fries, no condiments. It's ok for watching the Redskins try to beat Philly. I'm actually not a Skinz fan! Red Robin has some Corporate types making awful decisions on this little neighborhood hangout. I'll tell you that the sports bar is good. The bartenders are great, swift, fun, and always ready to serve (make sure you're 21!). I've had a margarita, beer, tequila shot, fun summer pinata coladas, and other drinks here. All excellent! The food quality however needs some serious...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe host was judgmental and made my young adult guest who has autism, feel very uncomfortable about seating us in tables at the bar. He automatically assumed because he was wearing a Marvel tshirt that he was a kid. My guest was almost 30, we came in to celebrate his birthday and he's very sensitive about his age and this man made him even more self conscious and upset him. It is really a shame that his coworker had to pull him aside and tell him to shut up because he was going on and on about how clearly he didn't look or dress like he was old enough to even be seated in the bar, DESPITE me telling him that I COULD ASSURE HIM HE WAS OLD ENOUGH. We ordered our food, ate part of the appetizer, took the entrees to go, got drinks to go and ate his free sundae. His day was ruined and pretty much was his appetite. I think that Red Robin should do a little more to educate the FRONT LINE people on the probability of disabled adults coming into your establishment and what they could potentially look like. I work in the disability community and I will let as many people know NOT to patronize your establishment because of tho Is type of treatment. It was really unfair for him to have to be treated that way. Especially by someone that was probably the same age...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy family and I love Red Robin. Because of our love for the burgers, fries, and the family friendly atmosphere, my wife wanted to celebrate her birthday here.
I called Red Robin days earlier to make reservations. Initially I was told that Red Robin does not do reservations, however they made an exception for me because of the large size of my party.
When we arrived, we were seated almost immediately. Our server was pretty incredible. One of the things that stuck out was his willingness to put in fries, broccoli refills and then bringing a large amount back. Many times in the past, servers seem unwilling to serve the bottomless fries or there would be a huge wait for them. But not this day, our server came back with many baskets and fairly quickly. This was excellent because we did have a huge party, and there were a lot of hungry mouths.
The food as always was excellent. One of the best burgers you can get anywhere. One of the best fries. And the environment is so family friendly. The kids can be themselves. The kids have things to eat. And of course they love the red balloons!
I will always...
