Visited a neighborhood restaurant today , and as an asian, this place doesn’t disappoint. A family owned business, located in the city of Fredericksburg, this Thai family sure knows what great food and service is all about. This place makes me remember what my family used to eat , whenever we crave some Thai food. We usually have a rice dish and a couple of entree’s. I ordered a Hawaiian fried rice with chicken , which was great. The chicken was not dry and the smell and taste of cilantro made the dish extra delicious. The rice was not mushy and it was very fluffy. I ordered the curry as well. Whenever you take a bite into the seafood, everything was not over or under cookers. The shrimp was juicy, the scallops didn’t taste old and it was sweet, there was no smell that would make you think that it’s old. This place would be my for sure go to Thai family restaurant. I love the family that owns it, I love the location and last but not that least, I love their food.

Wow. That was delicious. Drunken noodles with shrimp. Service was personable, personal, helpful, and attentive. Food tastes amazing. I was just complaining about the fact that there are no good Chinese restaurants in this area (this place is Thai) and that the reviews of them reflect the fact that they are "Fredericksburg Good" and cannot hold their own against places closer to DC. That rule does not apply here. This place is great by any standards. I will definitely be back. Flavor was on point. My server told me that the chef has been cooking for 25 years. Yeah, that sounds about right based on what I experienced. Without a doubt the best 'Asian' restaurant in the Burg and beyond. What a hidden gem.

WoW! Little hole in the wall looking spot that we've passed many times without even noticing. A friend, who LOVES Thai food, was in town and we decided to try it! Group of eight including three kids. We were seated immediately! Service was beyond excellent! The littlest minion was not a big fan. The owner brought out several different things (at NO charge) to include an amazing Thai tea for her to try. I had the red curry at the owner recommendation. DELICIOUS! Pad thai, pad se yu, drunken noodles, and wonton soup were all selections. Everyone enjoyed their food. Note they have four spice levels. I had medium and that's about good for me! We will be back for sure!

I will NEVER return to this place or refer anyone here either. I had such high expectations for this place but it seems they cannot even take care of a refund over the phone for a mistake they made. On Sunday night I ordered the entree ā€œHawaiian Beefā€ and asked specifically for it to be made with just shrimp no beef. (I wanted all the other ingredients and do not eat beef). When I arrived home my food had beef and shrimp. I was already starving and this place is at the least 15 to 20 minutes up the road from me. When I called stating my order was incorrect the man stated he would remake it I simply stated I would like a refund because I wasn’t driving back up there before they closed and I decided I was just gonna eat something at home since my order was wrong. As soon as I stated I wanted money back he said he was busy and would have to call me back took down my name and number. Did I get a call back? NO. They are closed on Mondays so I called today to again ask for a refund and was told I would get a call back And needed my name and number AGAIN (he obviously had no intention of calling me back) and when he finally called he stated I would need to drive back up there for a refund. I’m thinking this is an absolute joke right? You have an electronic register that keeps track of all your sales and electronic data you collect throughout the day and you can’t find my transaction from date and time to process a refund? He then starts making comments that he’s not money hungry and wants to make the customer happy so he goes hold on. All of a sudden he can find my transaction the time, the date, the price but cannot put it back on the card we used. (We used my boyfriends card which I don’t have at hand). At this point I am going to just take the $15.00 loss and chalk this up to never returning. I really have never seen something so small and simple be so hard when you can literally do this anywhere else you go. I’ve been in retail over 10 years and technology has definitely advanced to give your customer a refund over the phone. Like I said he never had intentions on calling me back anyways. So make sure if you order take out check it upon arrival (that was my mistake) to ensure...

I actually went here twice in one day. I was craving Tom Yum soup and googled Thai food. Much to my surprise there was a highly rated one on my side of 17. I went in for lunch and had Tom Kha soup, Chicken Kapow, Thai iced tea and Mango sticky rice. The soup was amazingly flavorful and had all nice pieces of chicken. That was a nice surprise, as even I use all the chicken pieces when making soup. The Kapow was very savory and had a great amount of spice and the vegetables were cooked but not mushy. I ended up having to take part of the Kapow and the sticky rice home as I was full. I texted a picture of my lunch to husband and he asked if we could have it for dinner. We got Tom Yum and Tom Kha soups, Beef pad pak, Chicken Kapow, Sesame noodles and sticky rice. All of it was really great. Nice amount of spice and flavor. This was a great find and nice surprise, as we were not expecting this great of Thai food in the area. This will be definitely added to our list of places...
