I really hope this goes beyond Steve himself because he deserves some recognition! Today I attempted to get my state inspection done at a local car dealership, this is where I got my rejection sticker. As a single mom and enough on her plate, hearing the $400 estimate for them to replace some bulbs, whispers, and exhaust hangers was unsettling. Not knowing where to even start I stopped by the Auto Zone by my house with my failed paperwork, this is where I was greeted by Steve (store manager). I told him what happened and he went above and beyond to help me. He stood out in the rain and personally installed every light bulb I needed and my wipers. Him taking the time to get covered in grease, laying on the ground, and add the storm in the middle of it all is exceptional customer service. Steve cares, Steve got someone who knows nothing beyond putting gas in her car a forever and returning customer when something goes wrong. Please pass along my gratitude and as a Business Manager myself take care of Steve, good, genuine, hard working people, are hard to come by.

Read moreMy 3 kids and I were headed to the beach when my light came on and my vehicle wasnt accelerating properly. I stopped at advanced auto as I had a few months prior but today the refused to come to my vehicle and hook up their machine to give me a code for the engine light. I drove right next door to auto zone and the gentleman, Steve, was polite and more than eager to help. I was frazzled by the time I got there, as our plans for the day were shot and I now have 3 crying children in the car on top of not knowing if I'll even be able to make it home. Steve came out to my car with no hesitation, he was patient and understanding to my needs. I wanted to say thank you so much for taking time to explain the problems I was facing with my car and printed me all info I needed so I can come back and get the part if I want. I will go out of my way to come back here as its apparent your customers needs are your own and you listen instead of rushing a concerned mother out the door....
Read moreBeen into this store twice in the last 6 months and both times they were exceptionally busy and did not have enough people working the store to support the volume of customers. In the last scenario which was a few days ago, I came in grabbed the product that I needed and then stood in line for about 20 minutes to check out. What about 7 or 8 minutes into it one of the employees apologized and said they would be right with me. Then both employees went about helping other customers laxidasically, without a purpose or focus, and I waited for over 15 minutes more to buy one product and get on the road.
