I ordered from DoorDash the Junior Bacon Breakfast Burrito, a corn dog, a Sausage Breakfast Toaster (sandwich), and Ched 'R' Peppers (jalapeno poppers). It was all just OK. The Toaster would have been better if the bread was actually toasted. The poppers may have been really good if I had ranch. They forgot my cheese sauce with my burrito and I was hoping the corn dog would have been as good if not better than the frozen ones, but it was ahh.
Update #1: I ordered from them again through DoorDash. All was good! I loved the Ched 'R' Peppers (they remembered my ranch!), especially since fewer and fewer restaurants seem to be carrying them around here. I also really liked the Cheeseburger. It was rated highly in a review I watched recently and I agree with them that it is one of the better things on the menu. I have had other things from Sonic and thought they were just OK.
I also got the Bacon Breakfast Toaster, but also like the reviewers I watched said (and I said last time), the bread is just OK. The sandwich all around is good, but it would be nice if there was more garlic on the Texas Toast (I thought Texas Toast was garlic bread) and if it was more toasted. It is pretty soft and blah by itself. I think I like the bacon one more than the sausage one.
I'd order all of it again.
Update #2: FYI the phone number for this location sounds like a cell phone. I called to ask for Ranch (the third time getting DoorDash with them) and forgot to add it to the order. They hung up on me and when I called back I was sent to voicemail. I am not sure if the number is correct.
Update #3: I got the new shop house Cheeseburger with added chopped onions. It was better with BBQ sauce on it. I wish I also got lettuce and tomato on it. The beef tasted like it had been frozen. All the food was just OK and was salty. The Churro Milkshake was pretty much a vanilla milkshake with a mini churro on top. It needed...
Read moreIf I could give this place no stars, I would. My husband ordered a plain cheesecake milkshake for me, while he was out. I took one sip of it and it was a giant piece of strawberry. I immediately took Benadryl, while my husband checked the receipt. Low and behold, the receipt stated that he ordered a plain cheesecake milkshake. I immediately attempted to call the store phone number listed on the receipt and no one picked up. (Giving them benefit of doubt, they could’ve been busy.) So I immediately called the corporate customer service number, in the meantime my reaction was becoming life threatening. I was having difficulty breathing, I had broken out into hives. I knew immediately that I’m in trouble. (All of this was occurring on a recorded line.) my husband grabbed my epi pen and administered it into my thigh. I started to feel better, and the call taker said that this problem would be “escalated to the store manager, district manager, and franchise owner due that store not being a corporate store” Week goes by, nothing. Called again, this past Monday (05/24/21) and was that my call was escalated…and I would be contacted by corporate by no later today (05/26/21). Guess what? No phone call. No one at the store is picking up. I’m more upset that not only did this happen to me, more importantly, what would happen if this happened to a child? All of this because someone was lazy and did not double check a computer screen? (Before trying to call me A “Karen” please think of it this way? How upset would you be, if this happened to a loved...
Read moreI come to this location often as my mother absolutely loves the limeade and it is very close to my job.
On July 28, just after 4:30pm I drove up the speaker and ordered a slushie, which I was looking forward to on a hot day. The lady was pleasant, gave me my total and asked me to pull around. Even offered me a "my pleasure" when I said thank you. The pleasantries went out the window however, once I pulled around.
The young man that was working the window only said one thing to me when I pulled up: "$3.08!" No "hello" no "how are you?" Just the price. I handed him my credit card and after only 2 or 3 seconds, he claimed my card declined, which now I wonder if he just said that for his own reasons. I said oh, ok and proceeded to get some cash out of my wallet. I looked at him and he seemed pushy and impatient so I simply asked "are you having a nice day?" To which he replied "not really". As I said, he had already made me feel like he didn't want my business and was rushing me so I then said "well, you don't have to take it out on me". He shrugged his shoulders at me and said nothing. This blew me away and I said "nevermind, cancel my order. I'll call the manager"
I have never been made to feel like that before. I was nothing but polite to that young man and he was nothing but rude to me. I will surely think twice before me or any of my family members patronize this...
