IHOP — Restaurant in Virginia

Awful First a wait of 45 minutes, the only pleasant experience was the greeter he was a new guy at the desk that seats you he was very nice BUT as soon as we get our booth the Waitress comes over no hello my name is .... she was very Rude and shouldn't work with the public. We asked for fresh coffee from the beginning because it was near 12:00 in the afternoon. She doesn't respond she brings the coffee and it was old and cold. My Husband asks another waiter we know because we didnt see her, to please remake our pot that they give you. She stands over by the coffee while the other waiter must of mentioned the coffee. She stares at me for like 5 minutes over and over not taking her eyes off me. Then comes over and begins to say she made the coffee it's not strong and holds the new coffee cups in her hand not sitting them down on the table. Why should we have to keep explaining over and over about the coffee to her it should be simple it's not fresh sorry she should of said here's your fresh coffee BUT No! She still continued that she was right and wasn't stopping. I said that's fine were going to leave she never once apologized she just went over infront of the Manager and cancels the food through the window. He doesn't ask why or nothing. This isn't the first time this IHOP has had problems with their servers being rude. It's like employees today feel they can treat the customer anyway they want because they are...

It was okay, we got to our seats quickly, ordered our food and drinks right then, got our drinks within 5 minutes of sitting, then we were waiting about 30 minutes for our food we got asked twice if someone had taken care of us i pointed the manager out at the partition between kitchen and servers and said she was and they said she would be right with us, then shift change happened, then a different 3rd person came up apologizing for the wait and said they would get our order shortly before running off to serve a table that came after us. All while this is happening a waitress is having a fit because someone totalled out the wrong receipt and put someone elses name on it and she lost a 10% tip off a $90 order which she kept repeating and saying loudly. The manager was serving more than the waitresses that were huddled together figuring out the problem with the receipt. We eventually got our food from the manager and ate up, the food was okay, it seemed cold, but I mean if it had been cooked 45 minutes prior and just sat there it would make sense ... we got the check and left. Stomachs barely full, $30 some dollars poorer and not in the greatest moods after that experience... I will still go back, I just gotta be mentally prepared for...

The service was terrible. One of the waitresses shrugged her shoulders when I was trying to explain to her that part of the order was messed up. I ordered the Cali Roasted Turkey Melt and the picture in the menu and what you actually get are two different things. The picture shows turkey deli sliced style lunch meat. I got a greasy, chopped turkey sandwich with guacamole on it. The sandwich was more of Turkey Cheesesteak not a melt. The lettuce was mushy and their was enough melted greasy cheese on it for an entire middle school lunch. The french fries were sitting in a layer of grease on the plate. I ate half of the sandwich and left the rest. The waitress asked if i wanted it to go. I told her no because it wasn't any good. She didn't offer any apology or anything. She simply took the plate and walked off. My waitress didn't get our order right. When checking out to pay for the meal the IHOP manager was at the register and didn't ask how our meal was. The waitress never once came to our table to ask if we needed anything. We ordered an appetizer to share among three people. We didn't get everything we needed to go with the appetizer and kept having to ask for items. I won't be back to this particular IHOP in...
