This visit had to be the worst. We usually sit at a booth to avoid high traffic and mishaps. We get a booth once it was cleaned. Our waitress takes our order for drinks and then our food (we always request our wings crispy and to have our fries dropped in the grease close to when the wings will be done so everything is hot and fresh. We always tell them if our food comes back cold, we are sending it back to be done over). It took way too long before we got our drinks (alcoholic beverages). I took one sip of my drink and it was disgusting. There was not an ounce of liquor and if there was, it was over powered by the sweet taste of juice. My roomie took one sip and immediately was disgusted too. She knows a lot about alcohol so she can break it down of what is missing or not enough of. We get our waitress and let her know. She said she will talk to the bartender which wasn't useful so she said she will get a manager to help. This was a manager we never dealt with before because the one that we knew well was on vacation. She immediately gets to our table all snooty. She said all of the drinks are made the same each time and have specific measurements for each ingredients. She said we had to pay for a drink we wouldn't drink because it was sat on our table. It is Virginia ABC law that they can't remake our drinks once it hits our table regardless if we drink it or not. The manager didn't once apologize for anything and was rude and seemed to not care about the drink. She gave the impression that nobody cares and get over it. It is crazy because I had a similar problem (the bartender poured most of my beer into my glass when it was supposed to be upside down in me glass full) at this very same BWW. The manager we knew was kind enough to take the drink back, get me a new one made right, and didn't charge us for the drink that we DID NOT drink. Lets fast forward to getting our food. The fries weren't even hot, let alone warm. A new born baby could have held the fries in their hand because it was room temperature. The wings were room temperature as well. We told our waitress to try the food or put her finger in it to see that this was unacceptable and not what we ordered. We were there for an hour and a half before our cold food got to us. We noticed tables that were seated AFTER us got their food BEFORE us. We told the waitress, take the food back, we didn't want it and we are only paying for the drinks. She gets our check and we pay. Before we left, some other waitress comes to our table and asked if we were leaving and wanted our food to go and we said no we didn't want the food and we were about to leave. She then said "are you going to pay for the drinks?" We were like you aren't our waitress so why are you even over here bothering us. We will leave once my friend gets done with her drink. It was obvious that she wasn't done if she was still drinking out...
Read moreI have never in my life ever walked into a BDubs and receive such horrible service.
We live out of town and normally always go to the Gainesville, VA location where they have superb service and food. We were expecting the same when visiting the Jeff Davis location while visiting out of town with friends & family.
When we arrived with our party of 6 (one baby and one very pregnant lady) the host failed to greet us warmly upon our entrance. In fact, nobody was near the entrance to assist us. For a Saturday night, it wasn't busy at all so we were shocked nobody greeted us right away.
When the host finally greeted us after waiting 5 minute, she asked us how many are in our group. We said six. She said okay I'll be back. We waited 10 minutes for her to walk back around and say how many are in your group again? We again, said six. We walks back and begins to slowly figure out how to put two tables together. She slowly walks back and guides us to our table without menus or silverware.
We wait another 15 minutes before my very pregnant friend gets up and goes to the pick up counter and asks when a waitress will be with us. Finally a waitress randomly says, have you guys been helped yet?! And we preceded to order. I took my time ordering and made sure she wrote down everything because she said she was new and I know it's not easy serving when you are new. She wrote down all of my order word for word.
When our food finally came out, we did not have silverware and it was not right. My friends Buffalo wings were dry rub and she didn't get the extra cheese sauce she asked to use with her fries. She had to wait to eat because she didn't get cheese sauce with her fries and her wings were wrong. We all felt bad for eating without her because it had been so long since we got our food. I did not get the salad I ordered until all of us were basically done eating. At that point I snacked off friends and was full.
My husband gets random bloody noses upon eating (nothing bdubs is at fault for) and he ended up getting one while we were in the restaurant. I panicked and asked another server to please get us napkins because we didn't have many at the table. He walks over to the cabinets and opens them where there is nothing in every cabinet.
Long story short. I was appalled at the service of this location. The Manager did what she could to take money off of our check which was nice but if this happens often, this restaurant will not make any money. As always, the food was awesome. Service hands down sucked. It took us over 2 hours to get seated, eat and get out. We were exhausted - especially my baby and friend who was very pregnant. I will be going to a different location next...
Read moreThis Buffalo Wild Wings should not be in business and is a disgrace to the name. I had a wonderful waitress who was friendly and kind but what my visit lacked was the food. Yes, the food.. we ordered an appetizer and 4 meals , wings/burgers, not hard and doesn’t take long. When I first got there I was not greeted or seated for about 10 minutes because the hostess was busy with take out orders, finally the manager, who later I found out was the GM (Lisa), came out of the kitchen and said “oh, we have customers” to someone back in the kitchen. I was thinking well it’s dinner time so shouldn’t they be busy? We sat down, ordered drinks, looked over menu and ordered food within the first 15min, no issues. But then after about 45min I noticed the table next to us got their food... well we ordered an appetizer. Then another table that got there after us just received their food, that’s when I asked to speak with the manager. Well this is where it gets even worse, my waitress said the foods coming out, and at this point I didn’t even want my food after walking by the kitchen to see a waitress eating off a customers plate... who knows what they’ll do to my food. Then next a “manager” or cook who claims he’s a manager dressed and acting as a cook, named Winslow, and he says he hears there’s a problem. I said, yes, we have waited for 50 minutes since we ordered and was able to tell based on what I was doing on my phone when we ordered. He said so do I want it boxed up. I was confused at this point and just said I want to pay the least amount possible, because we ordered soft drinks and 2 beers, and to just leave. The “manager” says ok and the waitress comes back with a check for 2 blue moon.... I’m like, I only drank 1 and the 2nd one is still here where I’m ready to go and don’t want to pay for that. So she takes that off, mind you, no solutions have been made to ever retain my customer service or try to satisfy us other than helping me leave. The waitress comes back and tells me to call the store back tomorrow and ask to speak with Misty or Lisa who are the GMs because they are a franchise and they can’t do anything. She said the GM “Lisa” who I saw earlier cannot come out. This place is just terrible with customer service and other patrons experienced issues while we were there too. I would recommend to remove this place from the Buffalo Wild Wings chain as it’s a disgrace to the name.
Their corporate doesn’t seem to...
