Panda Express — Restaurant in Virginia

One of the worst panda locations I have ever been to. They never have regular menu items the majority of the time, not to mention they never have soy sauce nor teriyaki sauce. In the rare event they have teriyaki chicken, it is so burnt and dry I wouldn't offer it to my dog. I'm glad this location does not speak for most locations.

Fast fwd. It's now months later decided to give another chance. My mistake.. they had "teriyaki" chicken on the bar which is a rarety at this derelict store. I ordered it, paid. When I was asked if I wanted any sauces. I replied that I would like teriyaki, sweet and sour and soy sauce. The cashier advised me that they only had soy sauce. So why did you ask me what kind of sauce did I want instead of just asking if I wanted any soy sauce? Better question is why do you have teriyaki chicken and no teriyaki sauce? Wouldn't it be just chicken at this point or a more accurate name for it would be "dry overcooked NOT teriyaki chicken" and staff looks at customers like we are in the wrong if we no longer want this teriyaki chicken when we found out it was just dry chicken. This location has to be owned by a different entity. I just can't see how this one performs so poorly compared to ALL others in the area, and...

ZERO STARS!!!, I arrived at this restaurant Saturday August 7, 2021 time 1:47pm order# 246519. I was assisting a special needs person who I provide care for place her order. I repeated to the attendant what she wanted so there was no confusion. When asking for broccoli I was told there was not any available. I and replied I don’t understand and the attendant said I couldn’t get any until they, pointing to whom I believe was a manager and someone with a mic on his head eating. I walked over to where they were seated and asked is this how things operate at this particular Panda Express And he said well what vegetables do you want, seated looking up at me seemingly sarcastically. So my response was does it matter, someone then got up after they saw that I was angry and started to make what I believe was vegetables for her meal but by this time we decided to go with what she had. Then the cashier rang up the order twice!!!! After I was asked did I need anything I said no she is the only one ordering. Still was charged for 2 meals. Frustrated! I just...

For some reason this panda doesn't seem to be as good as other pandas I've been. The rice is often dry and can cause choking. Last time I tried the steak and shrimp for extra $1+. It was pretty good so decided to give it a try today with a triple combo. But triple combo is starting to look like a ripoff. This time instead of a nice serving inside the tray, they gave me a half filled TINY container for the steak n shrimp. There were 2 shrimp,2 pieces of beef, 2 pea pods and some gravy. I paid $1+ extra for that?????!!! Be sure and tell them you want the stuff you're paying extra for, PUT IN THE Container, they usually do better that way. But also if they're going to give such a tiny container and fill it halfway, I might not get the 3 way combo.. Assuming I go back.
