Office Depot — Local services in Chester

One star because u have to give a star to even do a review. Long story short. Had an Amazon same day delivery from here. Didn't need it. Had to return it. Goes to Amazon to start the return and the option is to return it to office depot. Not staples. Not the UPS store. Gets to OD. I'm just going to say I know the customer is not always right HOWEVER for the person helping you should keep their opinions to themselves. I don't care that you hate returns or tell me to go to Staples, I'm following the directions. To tell me that "this item is not returnable" or whatever is garbage because I was clearly able to start the return. If your policy is that you are no longer doing returns of this type as of a certain day, I also don't need to know that. Curtis was not kind. While he decided to refund me, his attitude was one that he could have kept to himself. The young man at the register asked him for help and as I walked back to where he was he walked away. The lack of professionalism and lack of even trying to help was irritating. Had he been a bit kinder and not so whiny, I probably would have said ok. But he came off as a jerk who was over a return policy and that's not my problem. I never need to go to office depot and if I did, I would hope that I never have such an experience. Went to this store for some office supplies and saw that they had a laptop carry case marked sale,proceed to the check out item rang up at full price. The cashier calls for a price check and I am told it was not on sale, was asked to show the associate where the bag was located.When I returned to the aisle the tag was gone and I was told there was no sale tag and that there was no tag ever there.The name on the bag matched the name on the tag and I would have been understanding if it was in the wrong place.But to tell me and my wife that we were seeing things really.I will never spend another penny in that store and If i could would not even...

Last year in December I received some hp ink by mail that I NEVER ordered. I immediately took it back to the store and asked them why it came to me how they knew my debit card number. I was told that on my last visit I signed up for a subscription ( I Never did nor would). They refunded my money and assured me that the subscription was cancelled. Today I look at my bank account online and see another charge for something I NEVER ordered. I call in and am told I need to wait until I receive the item and refuse it. That's ludicrous to me.
