Food is good, staff was working hard and trying to be nice under pressure on a very busy Sat am. Some coffee exec turned virologist decided putting your own cream and sugar in coffee was a Covid risk back in 2020, and ever since then, they have the coffee preparation assigned to the cashier. This means that person constantly gets overwhelmed. I've noticed that it's become typical that a regular coffee ends up being the last thing to come out...by several minutes. Today, our food and specialty drinks were out, the person behind me had their food and specialty drink, and the person behind them had their 5 coffees before I got my one coffee with cream and sugar. This meant my entire family is outside enjoying their meal while I continued to stand by the counter and wait. This is "poor process" problem, not a problem with work effort. There's an easy solution, put the cream and sugar back out like the rest of the world. We'll get our coffee made the way we want, less work for the work team, and we can prep our coffee while you make the food....
Read moreFirst time in a long time visiting Starbucks. I was in the mood for some good coffee so. Anyway, I decided to try two of their sandwiches and I have to say that I am very disappointed! One half of the bread on both of my sandwiches was rather hard. The taste for both was average at best. One was the smoked bacon sandwich and the other was the ham. I have also purchased their bagged ground coffee at their location and others and was not at all impressed. All I can say is that their marketing strategy must be on point, because the quality of food and service does not match the "popularity" that they seem to have. I spent almost $20 for the coffee and 2 sandwiches for breakfast as I like a little variety, and am baffled. I consider myself to be a supertaster with a sophisticated palate and fairly high standards and I can tell you that I don't see myself buying from them again...especially at their price point. In summary, their prices don't match up with the quality of the products...
Read moreMy daughter went through the line yesterday to get sandwich & a refresher. The person on the intercom was overly rude! My daughter asked for one thing, she checked and stated she didn’t have it before my daughter could finish asking for something else, the girl said “ no we don’t have that either and we’re also really busy so…” RUDE. They had no idea WHO I am, My daughter then ordered something else and I told her not to say a thing and to keep recording the cashier then PRESSED my daughter asking “ Is there a problem ma’am” after my daughter already said she was fine not knowing she was being filmed. I work for the Consumer Protection Agency in Va and this is completely unacceptable. This location will be met soon enough. They also skimp her Caramel Frappuccino—she asked for extra and they barely even added a topping. So vile, unprofessional, and disgusting behavior. I’ve never in my 33 years seen a Starbucks with such...
