Where to begin? The Italian herb and cheese bread on both of my sandwiches was so hard and dry. I was highly disappointed in this, as it’s my favorite type of subway bread. And far worse, the horrible customer service by the young male and older female this evening, around 6:20p on 7.14.22, made sure I will never be returning to this location, though it is less than half a mile from my home. The lady was rude to the customers in line in front of me when I first walked in. The had a sign up that expired 6/30 and they refused to honor it and only pulled it down from display when I mentioned it would be a good idea. I ordered a sandwich and waited for them to make the online order I had already placed. When I saw them sit the bag on the pickup shelf, I went over and inspected it for my name. The same rude employee asked me if I had orders online, I said yes. Then she asked if that was my bag. I said yes. Then she asked if I had paid for it. Obviously if you made it and say it on the shelf I had paid for it online! I said yes and asked if she wanted proof. She said yes, she did, actually. I showed her my confirmation email and she looked annoyed as she read my name on the screen and said, Oh, Paula S. I can’t provide the inflection in her voice or the looks of the other customers (who were still there, sitting and eating) but it wasn’t good. None of it was good. They couldn’t believe it either. Read moreI was not surprised that after logging in here to leave a 1-star review for this location that I was not the first. I’m sorry I didn’t read the reviews before trying a new location. I’m a subway regular but this particular store doesn’t seem to care.
Kids sandwich. 3” vice 4”. Common scam across many subways I see online. Too difficult to cut the 12” bread into thirds?
Diet Coke dispenser was still out of syrup, as pointed out in other reviews.
Next, a couple was waiting at a booth for their online app order. We came and went but when they asked about the order they were clearly an annoyance to the employee. Perhaps the customer’s fault but with no one else in the store, the staff could have assisted.

I reminded them that the price was different because of the way they rang up things, but the “senior” staff kept telling me $6 is before tax, and after tax it should be $7. I never knew VA has such heavy tax! After several rounds of explanation, I gave up and said “It’s not the customer’s fault that I have to pay more money for the same stuff, right?” Then he stared at me and said “It’s also not my fault. I’m just an employee here! There is nothing I can do here.” I ended up walking away with the way it was.
