The night was dark and rainy, a storm has passed through the nation's capital with the kind of stealth and precision only reserved for military strikes. Myself and 4 friends got into our Uber. We waxed nostalgic about days gone by until we stumbled upon a shared memory: Remember Taco Bell?. We all looked at each other and smiled with that special kind of longing that combined our aforementioned nostalgia and the good feelings that sometimes only alcohol can provide, to Taco Bell we shouted! Our sojourn was ill fated from the beginning as we did not know when this Taco Bell ceased operations but we were hopeful to order our weight in crunch wrap supreme and thus summarily bring back those nostalgic good feelings and thwart the drunken muchies.
We came upon this Taco Bell and it looked clean and inviting. Huzzah, we have arrived!! Our journey has come to an end...or so we thought. We get up to the box that allows you to speak your order into it (technology at its best) and we were met with "our computer does not work we cannot process orders". I mentioned to the speaking box that perhaps we could exchange paper in order for food thus circumventing the system. Genius, right? Also, again a no as they would have no way to process the order! A friend in the back shouted "Can we just make our own food?!". Genius, again right? Again a no from the stubborn speaking box. We were defeated. The nightmare that is this Taco Bell won. Do not go out here as the journey will be fraught with peril and you be met with poor customer service defeat. It is a useless fight as apparently the speaking box always wins and the computer system never works. In summation, I would rather eat a bucket of sand than go back to this location. ...
Read moreOrdered from this location via Uber Eats. Put in the order around 6:35 PM and was given a estimated delivery of 7:30 PM. But...it was cheaper than Grubhub. So there is that. Also the driver was early and the food was good. I ordered a Chalupa Cravings Box and a Chicken Quesadilla. The drink was cold and the food was warm. Can't really complain - five out of five. Addition - 2/5/2021 - Ordered via Uber Eats from this Taco Bell location. Ordered a Nacho Fries Box, Cheese Quesadilla, and Black Bean Quesarito. Uber Eats promised a ETA of about an hour. And the driver, after picking up the food, got to me by going through Washington. Kind of weird, but the food made it on time. The food was good and I was hungry. So no photos. I also got a promo from Uber Eats that really cut down the cost. Still five...
Read moreONLY went bc my teenager loves Taco Bell.. I ordered a cantina taco just because I was hungry and it was disgusting. Maybe because I'm older. I just don't get the appeal of Taco Bell, My 17-year-old loves it. My 19-year-old hates it. The food is mediocre at best, they're marketing is on point when they try to capture their audience as mostly high school kids. It's not inexpensive, I would rather go to my local Taco truck or to sweet agave then eat a Taco Bell Taco. Also, Not great if you're a vegetarian or if your looking at calories. I am not a vegetarian and I don't constantly look at calories but this is not a good option...
