To be clear, I frequent this store often. Daily actually. I've always had a good experience here with the exception of yesterday. The hour was late and the store was quiet. I noticed a number of employees that seemed different but nonetheless there were a few. The food that I wanted to order is not on the menu ordered from the screen. It is an item that they sell that you have to ask for. I was in the process of doing this speaking to an employee when a gentleman who I am told is the manager who goes by the name of Tim interrupted our conversation when I was only ordering a specific sandwich by telling me hold on sir she will be with you in a minute. Of course this Bothered not only me but the employee that I was speaking to as we both found it to be quite rude. He said some things to her which sounded to be like instructions at which time she returned to our conversation.
This is how I feel about this, I don't care who he is or was Or what he is, I do not at all appreciate the way he treated not only me but the employee. It was quite rude and clearly someone forcing their authority. !!!!
When my food was completed I asked the employee if he was in fact her boss and she responded yes. I asked for his name and she provided it. I will provide her name it is Chrissy I believe. She followed me to the cash register and told the clerk to not charge me for the food or the coffee that I had had a situation with Tim. I got the impression that this is not the first time this sort of thing has happened. Bless her heart, she tried to make it right and I am appreciative! That being said, This Manager Mr. Tim needs a lesson in manners! How to treat people not only the customer but his employees. I can assure him and anyone else concerned I will have something to say should he ever interrupt me having a conversation with an employee there again! Perhaps he needs to find himself another job working at a pig farm where respect and manners are not necessary or needed. Obviously he was not raised to...
Read moreI was torn between giving 1 star or 2. Being a loyal customer to this location, I went with 2. On Dec.12, 2024, I purchased numerous items, including four packs of cigarettes. I asked for Marlboro Lights (gold label now) and to my surprise this morning, realized the new employee gave me Marlboro Special Blend. I will say that fortunately, the rewards app tracks a detailed description of your transactions if you use your Rewards card, so, I had proof that the items were purchased at this particular store. The manager refused to exchange what I had for what I actually had asked for. He said had it happened a few minutes ago, he could have done it, but since it was yesterday, he can't. He then said that they can't do exchanges on tobacco and alcohol. Well, if that's the case, then what does it matter if they were purchased a few minutes ago or less than 24 hours ago? If it was purchased a few minutes ago, then that rule doesn't apply? Please explain to me how a few minutes makes a difference in the manager correcting an employee's mistake that resulted in an unhappy and dissatisfied loyal customer. I'll be avoiding this location as often as I can, which sucks because it's the location I frequent the most. When management changes, I'll start using it again on a...
Read moreDepending on what you order the food is good, however, it is not made with consistency (yesterday I got a salad with barely any dressing, and today when I ordered the same salad it was beyond coated with dressing). The hamburgers at first were good but now they always seem to come cold with ingredients just thrown about. Likewise, certain employees do not have the best customer service. For example, when I got one part of my meal, I went away from the counter to put it in a bag and reorganize my items in hand (to avoid anything spilling). At that time, my other part of my order got called, and I went quickly to gather up the items I had set down and started heading up to the counter, but by then the worker repeatedly called my number rudely and impatiently. I understand they need to keep things moving and counter space clear, but I feel like common sense couldâve been used since I was the only one in that area and I was heading their way. Positively though, some workers have good customer service skills, the store has a good variety of snacks, drink, and food options, and...
