This was a drive-thru order. I was initially ignored when I pulled up to the menu. After 3-4 minutes of waiting for a greeting or any recognition whatsoever, I said "hello?" towards the speaker, and was immediately told "If you hold on I'll be with you in a moment." About 30 seconds later, the employee finally asked me what I wanted to order. He then proceeded to cut me off in the middle of my last item to ask if I'd like anything else. Somehow he managed to get the right item, but it was extremely rude the way he cut me off. My food was so poorly made that I could barely open the wrappers without getting condiments all over me.
I'm not sure, but I believe the man who took my order as well as took payment at the window was a manager on duty. He had a black/ white striped shirt, and skin blemishes. I did not get a name because he was not wearing a name tag and I did not want to further hold up the line, or have any kind of conversation with someone who was so rude to me from the very beginning. I will not be coming back to this location because of this rudeness. I was not complaining, and had no issues except I wasn't sure if they even knew I was at the menu to order.
At the time, there were maybe 5 cars in the drive-thru line. It was not excessively busy, and there were no valid reasons for this worker to be rude to me. I will not be back, because there are many other options for food in this area, most of which should have employees with enough common decency to not start off interactions in a rude way.
I try to leave positive reviews exclusively, because of my own 10 years of restaurant experience. I don't want to hurt businesses or cause undue problems for employees who may be just having a bad day, or swamped from a rush. However, this interaction needs to be recorded. Read moreI stopped by this location about 12:45 yesterday (8/16). At the time the drive thru was a nightmare and inside you could see the frustration on customers faces as they waited for their food. HOWEVER, the Wendy's team on this shift did an amazing job keeping their patience and powering through a difficult backup and deserves kudos.
They remained professional and customer focused. We initially expected our food would be cold but it was fresh and hot on pickup. And while mistakes were bound to happen with this backup, they corrected them and kept moving. Huge kudos to them, excellent teamwork and the gent on the front line kept it together!
I wouldn't normally write such a long post for a franchise location because service is 'normalized' but this location......5 star service!!!! ...
