This is a fun and lively place to have a meal. Kay is a wonderful ambassador to introduce you to the warm and vibrant Hawaiian culture . This Friday she had Hula dancers performing in the restaurant which we missed. Last Friday they had a Hawaiian themed bingo game. Kay welcomes you in a true Hawaiian embrace with warmth, love and care. Her employees reflect the same care and love that she shows customers . Kay works as hard as her employees. She buses dishes and serves dinner plates too. She meets every customer that sits in the restaurant and makes you feel like family. The food is delicious too. We love the kalbi short ribs which has a lot of flavor. It is served with two scoops of rice, a scoop of macaroni salad and stirred fried cabbage, carrots and brocolli. This time my cousin ordered kalua pork Omg you can taste the smokiness of the meat but you get a lot of meat. He had enough to have lunch for the next day. My favorite drink is the milk tea with grass jelly. It is delicious. We tried the pineapple drink but because we were taking it outside of the restaurant we couldn't get it in the real pineapple .it was made with real pineapples. There has not been any bad that we had here. The staff is very nice and they get the food out. You have employee making drinks, making sushi, and getting the orders out. Thank you Kay for making our experience a memorable one Mahalo.. Thank you staff for your hard work and...

We got two number 1 plates which is the mixed BBQ and then a number 6 for my son, since he loves chicken nuggets and they were close enough. They do not offer childrens plates or menu so he basically had an entire plate left over. We also ordered one of their shaved ices and WOW was it amazing it was 5$ and tasted amazing I can not even explain just how yummy it was. I really wanted a boba drink but they were sold out. The place was extremely busy, as soon as someone moved from a table it filled back up. I am rating only 4 stars because the floors under the tables were really gross BUT since they are constantly busy I guess it would be hard to clean. Also we asked if we could shaved ice near the end of our meal so we could eat then have it as dessert, and when my husband went to ask for it they FORGOT about us and we had to re-ask for them to make it and by then my son was in full tantrum mode because he didn't know why we were not leaving. If they hadn't forgotten us it would have arrived as he finished eating and it could have avoided putting me in a sourish mood. I would 100% go back again because I want to try their ramen and definitely get more shaved ice! Maybe I wouldn't take my toddler though because he's not really interested in anything...

So today my crew and I were super excited to place a huge order for a very beloved crew member that will be leaving. We ordered a large order and went to pick it up as well. The restaurant forgot to give our drinks to the person picking up the order. Then when the food got here we were missing a plater. I politely called the restaurant and informed them of the missing items. I spoke to a young man and he stated he would inform the kitchen that they missed the order and that the drinks are ready for pick up. So our coworker drives all the way back and they refuse to give him the missing plate. The restaurant manager demanded him to bring back the complete bad with all orders before they would make him the missing plater. We paid in full, we had to do a double trip, and we were not even refined the plater. We all work in the medical field and only have a 30 minute lunch, aside from that people already ate the orders that they purchased all aside from the missing order and with receipt in hand it was still not corrected. What a shame truly. Very disappointed in the...

I love Hawaiian food and when I saw that Visalia had a Hawaiian place, I knew I had to try it! This place does not disappoint with quality of food and service. The staff is very friendly, greets you with a smile and is knowledgable about the menu. The most underrated factor about Aloha Express is that they give you a full sized cup for water - so appreciated. They also have duck sauce which I’m a huge fan of! I have tried the spam musubi, the Aloha BBQ mix, rock shrimp, Pineapple smoothie and the fried potstickers - all highly recommended. The food was so good I only thought to take pictures after I was half way through.

This was my first visit. I got the Aloha BBQ mix. The food was just as good as other Hawaiian BBQ restaurants I have visited in other cities and more reasonably priced. The purple rice option was tasty, and the plastic knives and forks are sturdier than those at the other restaurants (important to me). I might add the fifth star if I continue to get good food, reasonable prices, and friendly service in future visits. Update: I finally got a chance to return, and the food, service, and ambiance were just as good if not better. The free and speedy wi-fi is just a plus. I’m adding the fifth star!
